155 mph 342 CFM Gas Blower/Vac
The ES-255 can perform a wide range of tasks. It can be converted from a conventional hand-held blower into a vacuum shredder within minutes. Its powerful professional grade 25.4 cc two-stroke engine makes it ideal for lawn maintenance. One hand blower operation is a breeze with throttle, cruise control and stop-switch conveniently located on the handle. During vacuum and shredding applications the patented shredding mechanism reduces leaf volume from 12 to 1. The ES-255 is backed by a full five year consumer warranty, and includes all hardware for shredding and blowing applications, operator's manual and engine oil.

This is an EXCELLENT machine that can handle any job it is needed for. We bought it specifically for the metal shredder (almost every other brand is PLASTIC) and it far outperformed anything we thought. We mulched 6 of our 30 gallon trash bags of leaves in less than 5 minutes per bag. Our original vac/shredder model by TORO is plastic and the shredder has so many dings from twigs that it takes hours to properly shred. Also, the large suction tube is awesome. Our old model I had to keep unclogging the tube as it would pack up. The TORO brand will probably last just as a blower for my kids to help out.

This Blower/Vac has been very useful around the house with leaves and yard work. My only problem I ran it to was vac/shredding English Ivy. The ivy just got wound up inside but I believe this would happen with almost any vac/shredder

Vacuum is a great performer and I believe the 12:1 ratio. Metal impeller chops like a champ. Blower is great for residential use and easy to handle. (Note this is not a backpack blower, so please don't believe this is going to work like the professional or push units). Works great on walkways, driveways and with dry leaves on the grass.

I have a half acre of property with a number of large trees as well as my neighbors. It is important to note I have flower, shrub and tree beds so there are very few wide open spaces on my property. The blow/vac gives me the flexibility I need to remove leaves from tight spaces.No problem blowing damp leaves but do not try to vacum wet or damp leaves. Product is light weight with plenty of power and easy to start. The only problem (minor) is that I cannot seem to adjust the vacum bag on my shoulder without pinching the bag area near the intake valve. My height 6' 6'' might have something to do with it. My solution is to just blow the leaves in piles and drop the bag to the ground. As far as the tight spaces I just vacum the leave. Buy it.

For 5 years I have had the smaller Echo Blower/Vac and it has been very reliable and worked well. This unit has much more vacuum power and is just as light and easy to use.

got it as a birthday gift. tried it out the next day, it was very easy to start and simple to use,the blower worked extremley well,then i tried the vac, it picked up all the leafs with ease, it did a great job. it was very easy too change from blower to vac,and the collection bag was very easy too empty . the whole process from order to delivery was a pleasure.
Pros: All In One, Easy to Use, Sturdy, Durable, Powerful, Great Engine, Mulches Well
Cons: Too Heavy, could be a couple of lbs lighter

I was looking for a blower/vac that would not get clogged up, this unit is the best i found. The shredding mechanism is made of metal and works great. I love the blower with the throttle and cruise control. the overall balance is excellent, my hand does not get tired. Excellent product.

Only used it once so far but it worked great as both a blower and vacuum. I was able to use the vac over rocks and it picked up only leaves and when over mulch it took a little knack but was able to pick up leaves without the mulch too. Blower is nice and strong. Started up right away.

I went to Home Depot to buy a Ecoh ES-255 but they did'nt have any. So I bought a ES-250 instead, this machine has more than enough suction. I'm very satisfied with this shredder vacuum. I'm not quite sure this shred's at a 12to1 ratio, but I have got to check that out.

I recieved it in 7 days and put it together and fired it up. I have about 1 acre of land and it made short work of the 1/2 acre involving the porches and decks.... exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recomed this product.
Cons: It is a bit heavy after 1 hour of carrying it around the yard.

I bought this for the Vac and it works well! I still use my commercial back pack blower first and sometimes after as well. Great product for home Depot! A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for!

This is a good blower/vac, but I think I made a bad choice in getting the vac system. Blowing the leaves works well, but using the vac system takes longer and more work than just bagging the leaves into a lined garbage can. At times the motor was a little hard to start... quite a few pulls on the starter cord. I probably should have just gotten the comparable leaf blower model.
No, I do not recommend this product.
