These fans are great for the value, bought (3) one for dining, two for bedrooms. easy instructions to put up, did purchase ceining bar that goes between ceiling studs for more support and stability. will buy these fan for my grandchildren's rooms.

Adds a significant amount of class to the room without spending $300 on a fan. Two things that concerned me before buying was noise and and would it be bright enough. I was surprised to find the energy saving bulbs to be very bright and the unit is virtually silent. I'm going to buy another for a different room.

The fans worked out great. Problem was that one of the fan boxes had been opened and the wiring had been tampered with. My contractor was able to hang it and it took extra time and money, but one of the fan blades was scratched as well. Luckly we were not using that side of the blade.

If you're doing a flush mount for a standard 8 ft. ceiling and follow the directions the motor won't mount to the mounting bracket. Cust service said screws should be removed for flush mount that are left off of the instructions. Had to disassemble and start over. I recommend spending a little extra money for a Hunter fan. You'll save it in installation time.

Fan has good power/cfm. Color is accurate to the website. 13 watt florescent bulbs aren't as bad as my wife thought. They light up our great room very well (20 ft ceilings). At $59.99 you can't go wrong.

This fan is very attractive and operates so quietly you don't even know it's running. After having a very hard time finding the right size, finish, and overall appearance in the store I was very pleased to find just what I was looking for online with free shipping included. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because it took several hours to install. The wiring was quite a challenge. It was well worth the trouble though. Would definitely recommend this product.

Got the whole thing installed and flip the switch to test it out to find that the motor doesn't turn freely and is getting stuck. I purchased 2 of these fans so I opened the 2nd box. It spun a "little" better but still got stuck and wouldn't turn a complete turn without stopping. Didn't even bother doing anything more. I've packed up both and bringing back to Home Depot, Ughh. This has consumed my whole weekend! Thanks Hampton Bay, Glendale! :(

I'm so glad we chose this product for our bedroom, the lighting is so bright, no need for any other lights in the room at all. And the fan itself produces alot of air on any speed it's on. It's so quiet when running you barely notice it at all. I just love it. I would definately buy this fan again for our home!
