I accidentally dropped the fan while attempting to install it and one of the blades broke. Hampton Bay customer service wanted a great deal of money for a set, so it's just worth it to buy a new fan. The blades are made very cheaply, so if you buy this fan, be really, really careful when installing the blades onto it. If you're not careful, they'll break. Otherwise, I suppose it would be a good fan if I had gotten finished installing it.

The fan was easily to assemble and install. In fact, the room is large so we purchased two of them. They look great, and the price was great. We felt they were a good quality at a reasonable price.

Great buy easy install only problem is the wiring for the light kit is meant to be used with the same companies light kit not another. Meaning I use the light kit off my old Hunter Ceiling Fan, and I had to cut the butt splices off the new fan's wiring to connect, no biggie to me but others might find it a little tedious to do. Other than that no issues.

We purchased this ceiling fan for our master bedroom and absolutely love it.. The fan matches our bedroom set and was very easy to put together took us less than 15 mins to assemble.. Cost less than $50 but looks more expensive..Totally recommend it..

These fans aren't meant to be used in larger rooms or vaulted ceilings but for 12'x12' rooms or 14'x14' rooms with 8' ceilings they look GREAT and do the trick for the value! They are VERY quiet and I get many compliments on their look. If you have high ceilings, vaulted ceilings or larger rooms you're trying to move air in then I suggest spending more money and getting fans that move more air, but if your house is like mine with bedrooms at 12x12 & 14x14 then they are perfect for the value! I'm buying another one this weekend at my local Home Depot!

This fan replaced an older model which had quit working after only 4 years. Installed in my garage just to create a nice breeze and in the South Texas summer to provide a bit of respite from the heat. Hopefully this fan will last longer. Was able to take the old light fixture from the previous fan and install it on this fan with just a few mods.

They run quiet and smooth without any fiddling. Coupled with the 430 727 light kit gave this combo a quality look.

This review is a bit biased on installation because I was replacing a hampton bay fan, so basically a snap. The fan looks like the models three to four times the price and operates smoothly and quietly. It has been on since install (about two weeks) and no issues to speak of. Plenty of compliments from guests too.
