1 Gal. Mastic Remover

For the past 11 years, Back to Nature has been a manufacturer of safer paint and varnish removers, lead paint abatement products, and exceptional cleaning products. Our Ready-Strip Mastic Remover is a state of the art, environmentally safe mastic remover designed to remove most mastics and adhesives easily and safely. It is non-flammable, biodegradable, water rinseable and contains no methylene chloride or caustic. Because of its special adhesive qualities, it can be brushed, rolled or sprayed on to a surface more effectively. It is virtually odorless even when misted. A special agent allows the remover to penetrate through the various layers of mastics and adhesives on a surface so that it is absorbed into the bottom layers insuring effective removal and a cleaner surface. Back To Nature Ready-Strip Mastic Remover can effectively remove most types of mastics and adhesives including more difficult mastics. It requires no neutralization

I took 30 year old ceramic tile off my bathroom wall and found this ugly brown looking glue all over the wall. I could not get it off. I tried sanding to no avail. I searched the internet for something and found Ready Strip. It was wonderful. All you do is cover the wall and wait 24 hours and then it just scrapes right off. It was so easy!
Yes, I recommend this product.

After much research this item seemed to fit the bill. I purchased it and found it worked great. You need to put it down and leave it for a few hours, not too many though. The package said something about 12 to 24 hours. That was too long as it dried out! 2-3 hours seemed to work best. It stinks a little but I opened up my basement windows and that helped air it out. Once we scraped up the glue we put down warm water and scraped up more glue and mastic remover. Threw some sawdust down to help sop up the mess and it was done!
Yes, I recommend this product.

After trying acid, a power washer, and a brand of adhesive remover, to remove layers of old outdoor carpet glue from my patio with little success, I talked to a chemist friend. She looked online and suggested this product because of the ingredients. The product worked great on the thinner layers. For the thicker layers I had to let it sit much longer, which I was okay with, it was doing the job. Well, a pop-up shower came along and I was concerned the product was washed away and I would need to buy more. Over the rest of the summer and fall, I noticed over time, more of the thicker layers broke down. So, I am pleased with the prodct. If you buy it, really pay attention to the weather, or be patient and let time help. I was happy I did not need to wear a respirator like with other products I tried.
Yes, I recommend this product.
