We purchased this microwave to replace our 2.0 cu. ft microwave that we had purchased in 2003. So when our old microwave decided to give up the ghost we decided to replace it with the GE 2.0 cu. ft. countertop microwave and we have not been disappointed. The controls are easy to read and I like the "beep" feature letting you know the food is ready and will continue to "beep" so you won't forget it. I would highly recommend this oven for those that have the countertop space and likes a nice large microwave oven.

The touchpad is very straightforward. With the turntable feature, cooking is nice and even. There is a lot of space inside, including height, that is more than I have needed. Very pleased with the product.

This is a disposable oven. It will last maybe 2 years; mine never could cook at less than 100%. Then about the time the warranty was up, it stopped heating. To fix it was more expensive than replacing it.

While this appliance doesn't have all the bells and whistles found on higher priced models it has all the features you'll ever need and is priced right. It has more power than the old microwave it replaced so everything heats and cooks faster. It is plenty large enough for every cooking need and is attractive looking. It seems to be well built and while a bit noiser than my old unit it isn't anywhere near noisy enough to be objectionable.

It took two to get one which worked. The return is a big heavy box which got bigger and heavier as we lumbered across the parking lot.
The unit is fine but I am still bothered by the poor quality controls exhibited and implied by the first machine.

Bought this in white on 9-09. Recently the control panel is blinking, turning itself on and off, basically flaking out. Nothing wrong with the power to the plug. Cooks beautifully, cleans up easy, just concerned about the microwave suddenly just turning itself on one time.

Had the older version of this microwave which it lasted me for over 5 years and it still is working however the paint underneath the turntable is peeling. Easy to use and greatly serves it's purpose. Even my 10 year old uses it!

This microwave has all the great features of that you'd expect such as sensor cooking and auto adjust of time/power which make it great for a variety of cooking. It's just a bit bigger than we thought but that pales in comparison to the nice features.

Our microwave recently gave up after 33 years. It was still working well and such an easy microwave to use that no one wanted to get rid of it. Well, needless to say, it stopped and we purchased this GE. We love it! It's easy to operate and heats up so much faster than our last one! The inside back is rounded making clean-up fast and easy too. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase!

This microwave has great features and is easy to use. But in less than 3 months, I had to return it. The turntable made a clunking sound as it rotated. I exchanged it for the same model a week ago. I am now packing the new one up to return. The turntable barely turns at times, and makes a groaning sound as it tries. I am going to get a different brand this time.

Our family moved over the summer '09 and the appliances in the new place were black, so we needed a microwave to match. We shopped a few different retailers, but found the best 'bang for our buck' at The Home Depot with this GE countertop unit. It is HUGE inside, with plenty of room to warm the food, which is important to us since we have 14" square dinner plates that we often eat our meals on. The control panel is very simple to use, almost idiot-proof. The 1200 watts of power provides fast and conveinent cooking, and the sensor technology prevents our food from being over-cooked. You will NOT be disappointed with this microwave! I have recommended it to a few of my friends and family members, some of whom have followed my advice and have had similar results. Great buy!
