The contractor who installed the toilet told me it came missing some parts essential for installation.

When confronted with all of the choices for types of toilets, water amount used, value sizes, etc. it was a bit daunting. After a ton of research, store visits and trying to decide, I finally picked this toilet. I made the right choice. It is quick, it is quiet and it works perfectly every time. It flushes everything with one flush. It is comfortable. Even with having to buy a wax ring and new flexible steel tube that goes from the wall to the toilet and toilet seat, these items were cheap compared to the price of the toilet itself. I think the price was high but I am totally satisfied so over a long period of time, the high price will equate to a terrific value. All of this and I am saving water to boot.
I definitely recommend this product! Finally, the Home Depot recommended installer arrived on time and it only took about 45 minutes start to finish. Very Satisifed.

Nice product that serves the needs of the users well. The only complaint is the excessive noise that is made when the water flushes down the sewer.

A stylish toilet with a strong flush. The picture is misleading...the description though correctly notifies you that the seat is not included. Plan on spending another 40- 70 dollars for matching elongated seat. The toilet is pricey enough on its own and should be equipped/sold as pictured.

I was very disappointed to receive my order of a Kohler Cimarron toilet without a wax ring, water supply, or toilet seat. Nowhere on the web site or in the owner's manual does it list what is included, or necessary and not included. (Customer service has offered us credit for almost enough to buy a toilet seat.) The additional charge for a color other than white ($150) also seems a bit steep. But the product itself is excellent! It is comfortable, quiet, and far superior to earlier reduced water consumption models that I have used.

I have only had this toilet installed for a week but already I can see a big difference in the amount of water it uses from our old toilet which used 3.5 gallons per flush. This model uses 1.6 and has better flushing power. Although I had to wait longer to get it because it was out of stock it was still the best price and free shipping right to my house was another plus. Because this model is ADA compliant it sits higher which for someone who is only five foot one takes a little getting use to.

replaced an american standard toilet that would even fail to flush small piece of toilet paper occasionally & would have to be flushed multiple times or plunged for anything solid.Had plumber check for blockage & couldn,t believe there wasn,t any, Replaced with this toilet @plumbers recommendation; can,t believe difference, really like xtra heighth(bad knees),also [purchased kohler quiet close lid. will be replacing other two american standards in house soon, they both work as poorly as the one i just replaced!

1. flushes very well and so far no clogs or double-flushes needed!
2. Installation was straight forward and the bolts that hold the tank to the bowl do not go through the tank, which is very nice (less corrosion later and will be easier to take apart years from now)

I would recommend dry fitting the toilet in place (no wax seal yet) put the tank on before installation so you might be able to push the whole thing towards the wall when seating it on the wax seal. Not sure that would work, but I am a bit unhappy with the amount of space it is eating up in the bathroom.

This Cimarron 1.6 gpf is different and improved from the the one we purchased last year. It flushes clean with some water circulation from rim. The Cimarron unit from last year just has a quick flush without any rim action and does not always result in a clean bowl. Both are 1.6 gpf. Price is 60% higher for the improved unit.

Great flushing and cleaning for 1.6 gallons per flush. Very comfortable seating height. Luckily my flexible inlet water supply line had an extra 3 inches to reach the new tank inlet height. I had purchased the required wax ring and seat in advance, so no surprises there. The installation took 30 minutes. Read the instructions first, guys, and tighten gently with pliers. After inspecting the outlet before installation, I noticed there were a couple of sharp casting ridges which would have possibly snagged toilet paper. I gently removed the ridges with a rotozip and grinding stone, to make sure the surfaces were all smooth. Measure the floor outlet from the wall to the center of the hole before ordering. Standard toilet outlets are 12 inches, but they also sell toilets for 10 inches. Someone in the product reviews bought the wrong one, and had a 2 inch gap between the tank and wall. All that matters is, my wife loves the new toilet.

Home Depot shipped this free, which is a big deal as they already had their competitors price beat, their competitor wanted 80.? Plus to ship. It's a heavy duty comfrtable, easy to install fixture..which DOES NOT come with a seat. I bought the quiet close seat at HD.

I have never rated a product before, so here goes.
I have been skeptical for a long time about the low volume flush toilets, because I have heard all the 'horror' stories of left over solid waste, and having to flush twice or more to get it clean.
I can't find anything wrong with this toilet, I purchased 3 of them at the same time, due to reading good ratings involving the 'series six' flush system. I installed them myself, (haven't done that for about 35 years now) but I ran into no problems with installation. Removing the old toilet and installing the new one, I call that "flush to flush" took me about 1 hour.
Now for the most inportant part, they have been installed for 3 weeks now, and 'have not missed a flush', I have seen no residue after the flush.
I am very happy with this unit and the price.

Be careful. Make sure you understand what you are buying. The picture is misleading. It shows you are purchasing a toilet with a toilet seat included, which in fact, no seat comes with your purchase. My purchase replaces a toilet that was not functioning properly. I am completely satisfied with the function of my toilet. I would have probably given this product a 5-star rating if the toilet would have come complete as shown in picture.

The toilet was easy to install and the quality seems good. It was quiet, which was nice. I am a little disappointed in its flushing ability. It is supposed to be "Class 5"...whatever that means...and it makes claims about how well it flushes. I wasn't that impressed. It works okay, but I was hoping for something with a little more force on the flush.
