Very cheaply manufactured. Staple nails used to hold steps in position. Position of steps within the dado on the stair stringer vary. Inconsistent manufacturing process. Cheap thin plywood used on ceiling cover. Can't believe these stairs are rated at 300 to 350 pounds. I wouln't let a 300 pounder on these steps at my house.
No, I do not recommend this product.

We installed these stairs in out carport to access the attic above. We were very pleased with the generous proportions. The larger stair treads make moving things in and out of the attic space much easier. We are very happy with this product.

It is heavy. Need three folks to lift & hold. We supported it on a 7' high rolling shelf with box on top of it. We could then maneuver in place and install. It was not quite square. Probably knocked out during shipping.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Its larger(30"x60") than the ones sold in the stores and must be ordered. I suggest ordering on line, delivery in about 4-5 days.Which I think is really fast. The instructions are clear and precise. Definitely a job for two people to install. Easy to operate and easy to go up and down, and room for carrying stuff either way.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Weighing in at 300lbs,standing 6'5" needed a larger opening and a stair,( not a ladder ),that could support the weight. Installation takes 2. After ceiling hole cut, took all of 20 minutes to install, including headers. Very, very sturdy. Highly recommend for the heavier customer. Wood is asthetically more pleasing and easier to modify.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Folding attic ladder is very sturdy and a step up from the smaller Keller ladder I had before. The wider rails , tread and upgraded hardware makes me feel safer in taking heavier item up into my attic space. No damage to the item occurred during shipping. I am very happy with my purchase.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The product is a very solidly built pull-down attic stairway rated at 360 lbs. Generally it is of 1 x 6 construction and is quite substantial. It requires a larger rough-in opening, but installed easily! Shipping had it here in about a week after placing order.
The only downside to this purchase was that the item ships in a grossly oversized, lightweight cardboard box in which it bounces around substantially. There was some minor damage due to the poor shipping packaging on arrival, but my installer was able to quickly repair and move forward with the project.
Despite this, I'd still recommend the stairs highly!
Yes, I recommend this product.
