I works very well. It takes the chill off a 16'X18" room in about 1/2 hour. No noise except for a faint very high pitch frequency. But you have to have very good hearing and nothing else on in the room to hear. The color is more gray than beige. Remote works well. My only complaint is that when it shipped, they used only the stock carton which is very thin. The shipping left a few dents in the top screen, but the heater is in a darker area of the room so I am living with the damage. They should double box this product. It works much better than the noisy fan style heaters.

We bought 2 of these Lasko space heaters in March of 2011 as an additional heat source in our living room due to the unrelenting cold winter in the Northeast. Our primary heat source is gas heat vents, but corners of the living room were noticeably drafty, so we decided to invest in these heaters. I have to say the machines themselves were very quiet and gave off nice heat. (Set to energy saver - 72 degrees and only in the evening when we got home from work) Having said that, our electric bill quintuple. As of April 2012, we are still waiting for the electricity bill to re-set back to it's normal payment since using them in March and April of 2011. That's right, just 2 months we used them and not even the coldest months of that particular winter. Sadly, given what they have cost us in the last 12 months for those 2 months of usage, we would have been better off putting on an extra pair of socks. Do. Not. Buy.

I am using this heater to keep a pump house from freezing in the mountains of Colorado. I was quote a forced air heating system for a lot more money and this unit is working just fine and I was able to Install (plug it in) all on my own.. The only bad thing is the thermostatic function is not to accurate but not bad for the cost.

The heater is great! My main concern was to find a really quiet heater. Because I put it in my kids bedroom and I didn't want it loud enough that it would wake them up. It is so quiet and can put out alot of heat in a very short time. I like the digital read out, because then I can see it at night in the dark. I would recommend this heater to everyone!

We have the heater in the bathroom that is about 180 square feet, turn it on in the evenings to warm the room for baths. It does a really nice job of getting the room toasty.

I got this heater as a stopgap measure to keep my pipes from freezing while my furnace is being upgraded. I've been keeping the house at 45 during the day and turning it up to 55 for a few hours at night. This heater does the job beautifully, and my electric bill is only $20 higher than it was last month. The unit is trouble free and very quiet; just plug it in, set the thermostat, and enjoy the heat!

We used this for our finished basement of our tri level home. Turned it on 68 during the times we were down there. Ended up buying one for our downstairs bedroom too. Works as great addition with our furnace.

All in all a quality product, works well. One note: I misread the 'timer' part of the description, it is in fact a countdown timer, not a timer where you can set it to coe on and go off at set times (what I was actually after).

have been using the baseboard heater for over a month. we replaced a 4500 watt electric baseboard with it and we haven't noticed any reduction in heating. the programable features timer/temp are fine and the remote is handy. if they had an actual clock that you could preprogram operation to, it would be a nice improvement, but for the price this heater rocks!
