The product features are easy to use, and the performance has been excellent thus far. I have had the product for three weeks. One of the absolute great features on this is the quietness. This was bought for us in an office. The timer feature is excellent to use to set when you know you want it to shut off completely at end of day. I know I will buy more of these for our offices.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The design of this unit is great. I especially like the oscillating feature. The negative is that it takes an extremely long time to heat the 10 x 20' room I purchased it to heat.

This Lasko heater performed great, providing backup to the FHW by oil, for a 24' X 26' room with 10 foot ceilings. It ran on low for about 7 hours a day five days of the week (I didn't use the room on weekends) allowing me to set the thermostat for the oil system lower, and the electric bill went up by about $50 for the month This is very economical compared to the price of oil. I am very satisfied with the heater.

This keeps my wife warm. Sometimes she turn's it off because she gets to hot. Best buy I made. I don't hear that she is cold and that I won't turn the heat up. Problem solved. My sister in-law like it so much that she went and got her one.

I have a 2 story, 1600 sq ft house. I heat with oil normally but with the price at $3.80 a gallon, I decided to offset the oil heat with this. It uses the same electricity as a large window a/c unit. I set my regular thermostat way down and put this unit in the center of the house at the entry to the upstairs with fans on low to circulate air, and it keeps the furnace from kicking on more than a few times a day.
I checked my last electricity bill to find out how much I pay per kwH. You can do this by dividing your total bill amount by the # of kwH's used. Mine (before I bought the unit) was $127 for 843 kwH so I pay approximately 15 cents per kwH.
This unit is 1500 watts. That means 1.5 kw per hour or 1.5 kwH. If I used this unit nonstop for an entire month-which is about 730 hours-it would cost me about 164$, which is much cheaper than the oil heat. The equation is 22.5 cents(1.5 kwH X15 cents per kwH) times 730 hours. That gives you $164. You would have to add your normal energy usage to this. So even if I ran the unit 24/7, and it added the $164 to my usual $127, my next bill would be $291 for heat and electricity-still cheaper than the $380 it cost me for a 100 gallon fill up of fuel, which lasts about 5 weeks in the coldest part of winter.
If you want to reduce your electric bill while using this product, unplug any electric power items you have when they're not in use, and use natural light to light your rooms as much as possible. Use cold water to wash your clothes and reuse towels. It really works to save money-this is how I have my bill so low in the first place, in a house full of electronics. Unplug, unplug, unplug! It takes 2 seconds. This will balance out the electricity usage.
I think it's a good deal :)
Yes, I recommend this product.

I really enjoy using this product. I did not put a score for the energy efficiency because I have not gotten my electric bill.
The remote control is great to have, the oscillation makes it easy to heat up a room and the temperature display is a convenient feature. Great product and I will continue to use it to 'supplement' the 'free' heat in my apartment. It actually is my main heat source since the 'free' heat only comes on a few times a day.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I got this heater to use in a small office and it works well at heating up the space. I like that the tower does not take up much room. Not sure what they mean by a carry handle. There is an indent at the top, but I haven't found a true handle.

The only negative is that I'm not entirely sure how to set the timing control and how long the timing is good for. Otherwise, it is a superior product. I like the vertical tower because of space limitations in my office

Everything is as shown in it's ad, but remote is a little large. Heats a room fast on high. One thing I wish it would do is turn itself on with the timers also. It will turn itself off but not on. It would be nice to have it come on an hour before u have to get up so the room would be warm. Also the thermostat is only for high settings won't work on low setting.

I purchased this little heater after reading glowing reviews online and it does not disappoint! We've got a medium size room in the basement that used to be freezing and the heater will warm up the room in a matter of 15 minutes or so (of course, the room is still not 'warm' but it is much warmer than freezing). For the money, this is a great buy. The timed shut-off feature is also a great way to just turn the sucker on and leave it until the room gets to a more livable temperature. Also, the remote is nice. Highly recommended.

We purchased this product to heat a 20 ft. by 15 ft. bedroom, where our parrots are kept, to a constant temperature of 75 to 80 degrees. The product was easy to install and set up; we had it up and running in minutes. We operate it in the automatic mode with the thermostat set at 73 degrees; so far, the room temperature stays between 72 and 79 degrees as measured by a calibrated thermometer. We are very pleased with the quality, value, and performance of the product. We are hoping the energy efficiency is good; we've been using it for about a month and a half, so it's too soon to tell.
Yes, I recommend this product.
