Love that it is better in person. Bought it based on the reviews I read on your site. Going to implement some of the tweaks suggested on some other reviews. Haven't been able to use it yet, but as soon as we get the area prepped,we will be ready to go.

We got this as a house "warming" gift for my sister. She says she really likes it and is better than the one all of my siblings and I got our parents! (oddly enough, that was a much more expensive fire pit. the kind with stone perimeter)

Overall happy with the unit. Unfortunately the top to the fire pit is cheaply made and has not held up very well - easily dented and rusts almost immediately, even with the cover I bought for the unit.

Looks great. Nice size, finish, and build quality. I have only had one fire in it, but I was happy. I like that it's a little large so I can have a good sized fire. Took about 15 minutes to put together. The only thing that seems a bit "cheap" is the spark screen, but I don't plan on using that much unless I have a really "poppy" fire when the kids are around.

We are overall happy with this fire pit. It is a great size - allows you to stock it up with wood to keep fire going for awhile; doesn't need constant attending. And love that sides are open with wire mesh screening so heat comes out sides as well as top. However, this is for outside, and it has several rust spots. And we have covered it each time rain is expected, but a little water leaked through and just with the dew on otherwise dry nights, it has several rust spots. Still works great, but doesn't look great in the daytime. Surprised it would rust so quickly.

In comparison with other cheaper models in the market, definitely this one is worthy of the extra money. Not only that, this product did provide us with lots of space for buring woods. I'm also very satisfied with homedepot.com's prompt delivery. I highly recommend this product to anyone. Don't save $100 to get a cheap model which won't provide what you really need for a firepit.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product, the components are well made and fit perfectly during assembly. I added a good layer of sand to the bottom and put the wood grate on 5 concrete bricks with one in the center. This also helps with air circulation and therefor less smoke. The sides allow the heat out and keeps your legs nice and warm.

We have had several fires in our firepit this fall and it is a perfect width and depth for a decent fire. Room for improvements include the top handle is already rusting and we needed to drill a drainage hole for water. Otherwise, it would have been 5/5.

this product is stylish and functional, caveat being that the grate sits on the floor of the bowl and prevented air flow for a good burning fire. We elevated the grate with fire bricks, and it works beautifully now. It does the job and we are enjoying being able to sit out at night without freezing.

Bought this from homedepot.com! Excited to get it? Word of "warning, not really warning, but constructive info, the dome screen and the chrome grate do not handle heat well. Bottom grate should have been made of cast iron, or something that could handle the heat. Same deal with the dome screen spark guard, it did not handle the extreme heat well at all. It is deformed and warped.
Still love the fire pit and am looking for a grilling grate to put on it, so we cn pop corn, or burgers or hot dogs, brats, metsand other fab edibles.
Even with he heat issues with some of the parts, I'd still recommend this fire bowl,mas it is great and you can really get a great fire roaring in this thing!it puts off some. Really great heat as well! (obviously, where there is fire there is heat!). Great do grab a book, and read by the fire during the day!

Sure you can spend more, but don't spend less! I bought an original fire pit for under $100 and it rusted in first rain. I should have known when it was missing parts and screws didn't fit in assembly! I returned and bought this one. Very pleased with quality, but I would buy a cover just to make it last a lot longer! Be careful grabbing the lid with fire under it. If you aren't sure if the handle get hot, rest assured it will singe your fingers! Seriously...be careful around kids!

Love the fire pit! It looks great and produces great fires do to the great air circulation.

I called the company and they said they have no spare parts in stock and do not know when they will. This is disappointing

We've had 2 fires so far in our new fire pit and love it! The depth of this model makes building large fires easy, and the grated sides allow the heat to circulate better (and warm up your legs). The ring around the pit stays cool even when the fire is going, so if you need to move it for some reason, it's easy even when lit. The lid is a bit flimsy but it does it's job as a spark deflector very nicely. It was a breeze to put together. I'd highly recommend it!
