This is an excellent combo oven. I bought it to replace an identical Sharp that was about ten years old. The reason I bought it again was because my previous Sharp combo oven performed excellently so I trusted the brand. I liked that they kept the features and functions the same so I didn't have to relearn a new oven. I LOVE this product. With this oven I NEVER use my regular oven. Microwaving is great and I use the convection component for roasting, baking or whatever I need an oven for. The Sharp works perfectly. The only problem with the new oven is that it was delivered with a bent turn arm. I tried to straighten it out myself but it just didn't quite work right. So I took the one out of my old oven and put it in the new oven and it works just fine. My only worry is that the old one is quite worn and I don't know how long it will last. Other than that, this is an outstanding oven that I will buy again in another ten years when the time comes.

Our last Sharp convection micro wave lasted two weeks short of 27 years. I guess if it hadn't died it was probably time to get a new one anyway.
We frequently bake using it and probably use the convection almost as much as the microwave.
The price was competiive with internet merchants and we know that we can expect great customer service from Home Depot.
I hope I get the same great service from this one as the other.

Maybe some of you missed the wattage difference? My first Carousel II was 1500 watts and the door pulled open. This one is 900 watts and isn't available higher now--the cooking is longer than what I was used to. As others stated, the door is bad. No hand pull and when I push in the release the whole unit moves. Not as heavy or sturdy as the first one. I also don't care for the new power button. I liked just pushing med or med-low.

This Sharp oven replaces the equivalent model that served us well for 20 years. We had had a single successful repair of the old one at around 15 years. When the old one "died," rather than seek to have it repaired, we decided to start anew. Replacing it with the very same product says it all, I should think.

We had had this Sharp model previously. When it started 'acting up' (the turntable would stick) we purchased another one of a different mfg & type. Tried it for a while, gave it to one of our kids and purchased another matching one like our previous Sharp. Ease of use, We use the convection oven feature as much or more than the microwave.

This is our 2nd sharp convection microwave, 1st was from 1984 and just broke. had it fixed 1 time for reasonable price. This time could not find parts. Will always have a convection, use it more then the stove.

We've owned this duo oven since 2006 (replaced the exact model in March after almost 6 years) and love the efficiency of the convection oven for baking deserts and small casserole items like quiche. We're a busy family and cook so that every other night is a left over night; having two microwaves--this one plus another Sharp microwave-only oven--gets dinner on the table fast and we get on to our evening activities.

Excellent way to convection bake/broil from frozen (meat, veggies, pizza, etc). Also microwave is excellent. Cooks in 1/3 the time and the kitchen does not get hot. I do not use my regular oven anymore, and I am saving on electricity and time. Healthy eating in 1/3 the time and no more food thrown away.

After two weeks of use the oven I am completely happy. This was a upgrade from a 2 cu. ft. Sharp microwave oven. Its almost the same size inside as the older oven. I would defiantly recommend this for anyone looking for a counter top convection oven.

works great. don't have to heat up the whole kitchen. watch the closer latch, it's made of plastic. most of them are made of steel. bumped it would my elbow and it broke. had to buy new oven. had first oven for over 13 years with no problems. oven has not changed in 13 years, exzactly the same. would buy another 1.

I'm no stranger to this particular brand and style as this is the 2nd Sharp Carousel microwave/convection oven I've had in the last 20+ years. The last one I owned was black and this new one I bought is white. As long as Sharp continues to make this microwave/convection oven in this size or larger, I plan to stick with them. I've never had a problem with this brand or style. They last forever and I only had my old one repaired once for the microwave buttons giving out from my kids using it so much. The convection part worked fine and... I still have my old one but decided it was time to upgrade to a new one. Merry Christmas to me.

This Microwave Convection oven arrived in 3 days, good service. The pan did not set flush, Sharp said it should, so I returned it to the Store and was given a credit. Ordered another Microwave Convection oven, received it in 3 days and it works fine. Service from Home Depot was excellent.

Excellent menu of special options for defrost/auto cook/etc. Convection works great. Door fails before the rest of the microwave but I've gotten many good years of use out of each I've purchased, and shopping comparisons always end up with me buying the exact same model.

This microwave/convection was purchased to replace the same model purchased 12 years ago. We use the both the microwave and the convection features every day and find the performance to be top notch. The capacity of the oven makes it perfect as a second oven during holiday/party cooking. I love the fact that the oven is fully programmable and even has a kitchen timer built in. it can be set to use a combination of microwave and convection cooking for your recipes.
