I purchased the Dyna Glo propane forced air heater this week. I brought it home, opened the box, hooked up the tank and turned it on…If you are looking for quick heat, this is the way to go. The main reason for getting a heater was to QUICKLY heat my 2 1/2 car garage so I could wash the vehicles. Despite researching different types of heaters, I didn’t get a lot of information on how quickly any of them would warm a room. I realize there are factors that affect heating times such as square footage, insulation, etc., so I put together some information about my garage and heating time over 25 min. There are 3 settings on this unit. I did run it on the lowest setting for the entire time. Hope this helps.
• 2 ½ car garage
• Insulated walls
• Non insulated ceiling
• Non insulated steel garage door
• 10 foot ceilings
• Total square footage: 1280
Outside Temp: 34.7 degrees
Garage Temp: 43.2 degrees
Setting on unit: LOW (continued on low)
Distance of Heater from Thermometer: 18 Feet
Temp change over 25 min: 19.4 degrees

I bought this heater for my garage not knowing if it would serve the purpose to heat my 3 bay garage on an as needed basis for doing projects or not. I was originally looking at either installing an old furnace or a bigger salamander space heater. This little devil works like a charm and I was very suprised given its size.. It is quick to heat up the space and you can control the heat so it doesn't run constantly as well as providing more than enough heat. Propane is great as I always have tanks kicking around from the grill...

THE INSTALLERS AT OUR SHOP HAVE TRIED A MULTITUDE OF HEATERS, SOME CLOG, SOME STOP BURNING EFFICIENTLY AND OTHERS DON'T BLOW VERY HARD.
WE HAVE 3 OF THESE HEATERS IN A BARELY INSULATED, 10 STALL, 2 STORY STEEL BUILDING WITH ROLL-UP OVERHEAD DOORS THAT LET ALL OF THE HEAT OUT WHEN YOU PULL VEHICLES IN & OUT.
THESE HEATERS ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN KEEP UP WITH THE DEMAND OF OUR GUYS.
THEY CAN'T WEAR ALOT OF BULKY WARM CLOTHING DUE TO HAVING TO REACH INTO TIGHT SPOTS WHILE INSTALLING HITCHES ON VEHICLES, SO THEY HAVE TO HAVE SUPLEMENTAL HEAT.
THIS HEATER IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE IN A SIMULAR SITUATION.
***ALSO, IT BURNS CLEAN, NO FUMES, OR SMELL AT ALL!!!

My boyfriend and I bought this heater for our detached two-car garage (approx. 600 sq.ft.). He has a small woodworking shop in the garage and we had invited some friends over to do a craft project that was going to be a little too messy for the house, but it was very cold outside. We hooked up this little jewel and in about ten minutes everyone was shedding their jackets and rolling up their sleeves. It was amazing. It really saved our evening and made our group get together much more enjoyable.

This heater worked great in my workshop. Even though this site says it is ONLINE ONLY, check with your local Home Depot - mine had plenty right on the shelf.
It was kind of loud, but I expected as much. Easy to hook up - worked well out of the box.
