80,000 BTU Portable Propane Convection Heater

The DynaGlo 80,000 BTU Portable Propane Convection Heater has an inner windshield to prevent the flame from being extinguished and a large sturdy base to prevent tipping. The unit shuts down automatically if accidentally tipped over. It is a sturdy and reliable convection heater with 3 heat settings and a 360-degree heat radius. It operates on a standard 20 lb. propane tank (not included) and requires no electricity, making it ideal for homeowner workshops and construction sites.

time to take off the fleece!

I just purchased this unit at my local store and it is hot in the garage that was just around 19 deg F. the output is decent, I am glad I went with this rather than the next step up model. The space it is heating is a 2 car garage below our multi level home. I have it turned up to the middle position and it is about time to back it down now, after about 30 mins at that setting.
I have a window fully open and the garage door cracked to let the tank run outdoors. most of the heat is from waist level up, but it is working it way down. construction of the product is good, i had to adjust the spark gap, but that is effortless to correct. I would recommend this for sure. If anything changes I will update ..

I purchased this for my company to use in an unheated room to use as a break room for my crew and it works perfect. It throws out a lot of heat and while it is a simple design (not much to it), it works great. You definitely don't want to put anything flammable close to it though.

Great Performance and Value

This heater easily heated a 20' x 12' canopy with walls within 20 minutes to a comfortable 68 degrees with outside temps at 40.
Minor assembly is required but is very easy, it comes with a long propane hose. It's very easy to place the heater in a safe area without worrying about being able to reach.
I think for the money it is an amazing value for what you get and I recommend it to anyone looking to heat a workshop or garage. My only bit of advice is never leave it unattended and if using indoors always crack a door or window open for saftey.

I bought this heater because of the cold weather we were having.I needed to do some work down in my shop ,but it was too cold to do anything.I had been using a kerosene heater but it didn't help much.I was doubtful about this propane heater but I also needed a portable heater to take on a camping trip ,so I bought it.I have used it in the shop and it does a good job.

KEEPS ME WARM

This unit has served my purposes; to warm my small mobile home during Florida's cold snaps. It warms the house quickly and then I turn it off for awhile. I never burn it while sleeping or away from home. I am concerned that it doesn't always light on the first try; it's a little tricky and I end up with gas fumes in the air. Also it sets off my smoke alarm, but then so does my oven. Over all for the price I would recommend this unit.
