This is an inexpensive, water saving toilet. But that comes at the expense of quality parts and reliability. Have had this toilet for only a year and it's been a source of leaks and water damage ever since. When I finally was ready to trash it, I decided to call the customer service just to see if there was any other possible leak source. After a very brief, somewhat rude conversation, I was told to expect parts in the mail. I received a new ring to seal the tank to the base...that looked NOTHING like what came in the box. See attached photo... What comes in the box is a cheap piece of foam that doesn't really fit all that well. What I get sent in the mail was a quality piece of rubber that had been specially grooved to prevent the leaks that I had been experiencing for so long. Why this clearly superior piece of the toilet isn't included initially can only be left to the bottom line of pricing. Another corner cut by the manufacturer that is only given to the customer AFTER they complain. So beware, if you buy this product, call customer service FIRST and ask for the correct/quality parts to save a year's worth of headaches!!

I've just replaced all of my old toilets (3) with this model. I installed one, and waited a few months to test it out. Having no complaints I decided to replace my other toilets as it's incredible value for money. The seat is a little on the cheap side and could be replaced and also the water tank seal is also on the cheap side, however it all works perfectly out of the box. No leaks, and easy installation. I don't quite understand complaints of leaking, maybe an installation thing vs. quality of toilet as you need to ensure everything is snug & tight for it to work properly (as you'd expect).

I went in to Home Depot prepared to spend $300+ on a toilet to replace the 1950's doll-house-sized toilet in my new to me house. The dual flush on this model caught my eye and then I saw the price tag. Figured I couldn't lose! I'm just a DIY homeowner and with the help of a YouTube video was able to complete the full installation very easily. Flush power is GREAT for the "solid" button though I'm not 100% convinced the "liquid" button gets rid of everything, but whatever; it's more of a novelty for me as I'm on a well.
The gasket from between the tank and the bowl IS very cheap and somewhat difficult to get into place. It doesn't look like what's pictured in the manual so I scratched my head a couple times looking at it. I press-fit it to the bottom of the tank and lowered it onto the bowl PERFECTLY straight and haven't had any leaks.
I put the wax ring in a freezer bag and put it in a pan of water on the warming zone of my stove top for an hour. Softened that sucker right up for an easy install.

I recently purchased and installed 2 of this products. The installation process was really simple (all parts were included on the box) --- the videos on homedepot.com that explain the installation of toilet process were very informational too.
The only negative I have on this product is related to the toilet seat. Even though, I securely set the seat to the bowl, it continuously gets loose. I finally got another seat on home depot. It is perfect now.

I installed two of these to replace 60s toilets. No problems with the first one. The second one was missing the lid (the store's fault, not the manufacturer). Also, the included wax seal was dried out, scrawny, and would not adhere to the toilet. When I tried to install with a new seal, the head broke off of one of the flange bolts. Save yourself extra trips to the store and buy an extra seal and bolts. Other than these annoyances, the units work great.

Installed 4 of these toilets in the last year and not one problem so far. No clogs yet and the flushing action is very good.Each DIY install went well without a hitch taking about 1 hr. to remove the old toilet, clean the flange, and install the new one. I have spent upwards of $600 on toilets and I just could not justify doing the high end deal again. FYI - I was concerned about buying such a low cost toilet, but Consumer Reports also rated these as one of their top picks.
Pros: Easy to Install, Looks Great, flushes well, very low water usage

As I said, it is a toilet. It installed like any other toilet, not too bad if you know what you are doing. Nice thing is that the toilet did come with a seat (albeit hard plastic) and a wax seal ring along with all mounting hardware. So, the only other item you may need is the water supply line as the tank is a bit higher up than a standard older toilet. Overall, quality is good, no defects were found and it does have quite a bit of flushing power. This replaced my older 90's low flow toilet that plugged if you looked at it wrong. One thing to be sure you do is adjust the length of the button rods that actuate the flush valves. They came too short out of the box and did not properly differentiate the liquid vs solid push buttons. Once adjusted properly, the liquid works great at just getting rid of the liquid waste and the silver solid button does great at giving a full flush for solids.
For the price, this is a great toilet

We have owned this toilet for 2 years now and the toilet itself is great. Two adults use it and we've never had any problems, never even had to plunge it.
I strongly suggest using the most amount of water for each flush with toilet paper...no matter how much you use. We found out the hard way that there needs to be a lot of water pressure to get the toilet paper out to the septic tank, and unfortunately we had some toilet paper get stuck. We were unsure of the problem so we snaked all our lines and couldn't find the issue. We had to call the septic company and have them investigate. The toilet paper got stuck and backed up.
The septic man said he hates these toilets because this problem does happen.. The first question he had for me was "do you have an energy efficient toilet?" He said the best thing to do is flush a 5 gallon bucket down the toilet every month or so just to make sure nothing is getting stuck.
I still love this toilet, and we haven't had any problems except for that. It was a little tricky to assemble. Not sure how easy it is to get parts because we've never had too. I would still recommend this toilet.

Flapper value leaked and caused the water value to turn on every few minutes. Went to home depot and they opened up a new carton and gave me a new flapper. New flapper leaked also. Found out the the flapper set to high on the over flow tube to allow it to seat properly. Took a knife and shaved about another 1/16 inch depth to the slots on the flapper valve and now the flapper works fine. Toilet works great now and was easy to install.

We were looking for a dual flush style toilet that wouldn't break the bank. We got that in this toilet. Installation went smoothly for the most part. The only thing I would suggest would be better hold down bolt quality. The wing nut style hold downs just don't cut it for me. I have had to retighten them a few times already. (3 times in two months) Other than that everything else seems to be working well. Solids flush w/ one attempt and has not plugged at all so far. The only other thing we upgraded was the seat with a solid wood seat. But over all WE are pleased with it and are planning on at least one more when we finish our master bath. I would recommend this toilet.

We live in the Mojave Desert and wanted to change our most frequently-used toilets to low flow (and taller!) toilets. After researching the available choices and price points, we selected this toilet model for both bathrooms. On my brother's recommendation, we bought a heavy-duty wax ring to use instead of the one included with the toilet, and that was a very good idea.
These toilets flushed like magic! All was well for more than a year, and then one of them stopped performing so well, gradually needing more flushes to do the job. When it reached 5 flushes to clear the bowl, I was justifiably angry. I searched all over the place online to try to find a replacement for the flush valve, and couldn't. I broke down and called the number on the sticker inside the tank, read off the model number, and wow! They have a 10 year warranty on the parts I needed. Within a week I had a new valve (at no charge) and my toilet behaved like new again. The other toilet hasn't had a single problem. I'm of the opinion the problem must have been a fluke. Seriously, how could they afford to replace parts for a decade if it were a regular problem?

I installed this toilet 1 year ago. It's the best toilet I have ever used. The flushing power is fantastic. Good design? Brand name? No, I just needed super duper flushing power. You may need to adjust the water volumn to get the best result.

I bought thing after reading all the reviews and decided it was a good fit. After installation which was easy, of course I did several test flushes... This is where I knew it was a "flop". Still, not actually using the toilet I tried flushing a few pieces of septic safe toilet paper and it took 3 ( THREE ) "full" flushes before the paper would go down..I say "full" because the button has two buttons in it, one for liquids and one for solids (aka: a full 1.xx gallon flush) next I poured a tiny bit of orange juice to test the "pe" flush and it took 2 flushes before all the orange juice was gone.. I do have great water pressure so I know that wasn't it - I believe it's just a bad toilet.. Moral of my story - don't waste your time with this toilet - if you want a unique cool looking toilet you intend not to use this is perfect otherwise stay away

I bought this for the sake of it's water efficiency feature. However, I love having a toilet that is so tall. The toilet works great, and I'm much more pleased than I was with the previous toilet.
Other reviews all recommended getting a different wax ring and different toilet seat which I did. I didn't want to be unhappy with any aspect of this toilet and I definitely am not.
It's great value, works as advertised and overall improved by bathroom.
Connecting the tank to the commode was a little tricky but doable. It just took a little time.
I highly recommend this!

Installed this over the new year weekend while updating a full bathroom. After reading the comments, I wanted to add my own two cents. First off, at $100, the price really cannot be beat. That said, comments about poor/insufficient flush power are not off. Toilet paper does not routinely flush all the way down with one full flush (and often with a liquid-only flush). This defeats the purpose of water conservation, however, still, much better than the old one it replaced. Not clogs to speak of.... important note, however DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED WAX RING: BUY YOUR OWN WITH EXTRA HEIGHT. This will save you a whole lot of headaches, especially if you are installing over tile.

I bought this Glacier Bay Dual Flush Toilet and found that the gasket that attaches to the tank and sits into the bowl was a misfit. It did not have a wide and narrow ends as mentioned in the installation instruction. My spouse checked the product reviews on the home depot web site and found that others had the same problem. I went to the local Home Depot where I bought the toilet, and a staff person took the time to listen to me and walked me to the section where they had gaskets, and recommended a gasket that looked like it would fit. I brought it home and it was the right fit and stretches like the installation instruction said it should. For those of you who buy this toilet, go to the store and ask them to give you this replacement item. Here is the UPC code for it so you will know this is the right part. UPC # 3715501875

We are in the process of remodeling our home and with so many toilets to choose from we were at a loss as what to purchase. Well I was anyways, my girlfriend said let’s just buy this one it’s only $98.00. We needed four but only bought one just as a trial and I must say I was so impressed we bought three more. The toilet works great and it’s very comfortable. We did upgrade to a soft close seat but again I will say the cheap plastic seat was far more comfortable. Don’t spend $300.00 on a fancy toilet when this one works GREAT!

Installation was vey easy. I did not have to do anything inside the tank. Just connected the water line, screwed in the flush botton on the cover and just put the cover on. The package came with all parts and those parts are good parts. The tank makes the whole set looks so attractive. Water fill up fast.
However, the only draw back is the flush power for 1.1 gal. I tested the toilet with smelly color liquid. I could see the color and smell of the liquid when I tested 1.1 gal flush. The 1.6 gal flush option just barely did the job. Still a good buy for a guest bathroom.
Keep in mind that this one is 33 1/2 inch tall and 31 inch long. It is about 3 inches taller and 2 inched longer compare to the 1.28 gal with normal tank same brand. I have both installed at my place and I could not tell the difference. However, I could notice that this set is heavier compare to the normal tank version.

Great price -- a really good deal for a dual flush toilet. It was easy to install and is MUCH more efficient than our previous toilets. The only negative thing I have to say is that the flush buttons are counter-intuitive -- you push down 2 buttons for a small flush and 1 button for a big flush -- seems like it should be opposite -- so we have to tell visitors how to use it properly.
