The ice cream maker is well built, looks good and works well with one exception. The motor needs to be a little stronger to churn longer. I like my ice cream harder. Other than that, I like it very much. I looked at them all and I am glad I chose this one. I keep ice cream in my freezer at all times.

I got this for my son-in-law who makes ice cream weekly in the summer months. We've already tried it and the ice cream was excellent and there was lots left over-which was just as good the next night

This is the 4th ice cream freezer I have owned and it is the best and the best looking. It completes the process faster than my previous freezers and keeps the ice cream frozen longer. I would definately recommend this freezer to anyone it may cost a little more but it is worth it.

The electric motor shuts off before ice cream is ready. It shuts off in a smoothie stage.
The hand crank is made of a cheap alloy. I feel that using the hand crank much beyond the stage the electric motor stops will break the handle or some part of the hand crank.
I like the quitness of the Aroma freezer;however, I would like a stronger motor and a more durable hand crank. If this is not acceptable, I am very willing to exchange it for a full refund to include the shipping and packaging.

I am an NC Farm Fresh Roadside. I sale fresh vegetables & fruits. I wanted to sale ice cream. I searched online for ice cream makers. I needed a big ice cream maker. I found Home Depot with 6 Qt. Woodbarrel Ice Cream Maker. I have 5 other manufactory ice cream makers. This Aroma is my best~ I have ever used! It has a large canister I needed and wanted. This product is cheaper cost than any other makers. The barrell, canister, dasher and electric motor are very professional items. With instructions and resource ideas making ice cream have helped me create the best topic ice cream. This ice cream maker finished making ice cream freeze shorter times than other manufactories. I try to keep my budget low and this item helps me saving money. I AM SUGGESTING OTHERS SHOULD BUY THIS "6 Qt. Woodbarrel Ice Cream Maker". Look forward your party everyone will be proud of you! I will buy 2 more again soon.
