The Faus Floor Pear Tree Bruna 10mm Thick x 11-1/2 in. Wide x 45-1/2 in. Long Laminate Flooring features a medium tone and embossed pattern to effect the beautiful and random look of natural wood. It is equipped with a pre-attached 2mm underlayment that facilitates quick and easy installation while reducing noise once installed. It may be placed over both concrete- and wooden subfloors in above-, below or on-grade configurations. Each plank has a MicroBevel edge and gives the illusion of 3 strips of wood along its width.

I just finished the second room with this laminate. We got a lot of it at HD at a special price because the previous buyer had returned it. I doubt we would have felt like spending the normal price, but this way we got to experience the top notch quality of this product.
I beg to differ with two of the earlier reviewers who recommended two installers for this floor. I did both rooms by myself, and it was the first time in my life that I installed hard floors. Agreed, the second room was easier than the first, but mostly because it was just rectangle, no fireplace cutout like the first. Make sure you have the proper tools when you install (see fausfloor's videos on youtube), particularly the two wedges and the long, wide steel puller.
The detail of the wood-like surface, with tiny structures that real wood would have, make this hard to tell as a laminate. Only when you touch it, and when you look for repeats of the design (there are four different designs in the set) can you tell that it is not wood.
We are now preparing to floor the other three rooms of our home with fausfloor, but with a lighter "wood" (light beech). Now that we know what quality this is, we don't have a problem paying full retail for it.

The Pear Tree Bruna laminate is very expensive and somewhat hard to swallow and especially since there are still good quality products at almost half the cost, however when I received the laminate I was very impressed with the overall quality of the finish and even comes with the underlayment that saves a few hundred dollars. The installation was very easy and the boards are extra wide compared to the previous brand I installed. The color of the finish will go great with any colored cabinet and looks excellent with stainless steel appliances. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants a stunning impression. Overall, you get what you pay for.

We self-installed this in our living/dining/kitchen areas and it flows beautifully with our light colored cabinets and darker antiques. Easy installation but you need to be careful with the click-lock edges as they can break off easy if you have a heavy hand. Overall very pleased with the look and the time it took to install! Would do it again!

We installed about 550 square feet of the Pear Tree Bruna flooring in our basement. I really liked the flooring & it looks great installed. You do need two people to install it or it will take forever. It does take a little practice to get the hang of installation but it does go down relatively easily. The floor seems really durable & hides dirt because of the pattern. I would recommend it; however, it does not look like real hardwood & you can tell that it is laminate. In the same way that vinyl never looks like ceramic tile. The seams on the long side (46) are very hard to see, the seams in the short side (11.5) you can see. Overall, it is a great product.
