I purchased this fan to drive the warm air from the room where my wood pellet stove is located, to other (cooler) parts of the house. The fan works exactly as I was hoping it would, is much better than the small square doorway fan that I used last winter and it is quiet too. I also like the variable speeds as those three speeds provide desired flexibility in moving the warm air as needed.

i live in Austin, TX and my room is particularly hot-barely any circulation of air occurs. Since I bought this fan, I breathe easier, rest easier-it is so quiet on the low speed you barely notice it's on. But it is and on that low speed it works beautifully. I turned it to the higher speed-works fine...just not needed. I love this fan!

the fans good overall, the only problem i have is the noise/sound it makes at high speed.at low speed the sound is soothing.
