This microwave is better than expected. Many nice features. The light would not come on when I opened the door to my old Panasonic microwave so I was VERY happy that the light stays on in this one! I know that's weird, but that issue was never brought up in the description so I was worried about that, but no problems at all.

Unit works just like a microwave should with plenty of power. The user interface isn't bizarre and is easy to learn to use. The quick minutes are useful for common items and so far that's all that I've used, with the addition of the +30 sec key. I've only had it for two weeks and we'll see about longevity but I already like it more than the Magic Chef that it replaced.

This is a nice-sized microwave unit; it's attractively styled and relatively light in weight. Blends well with my kitchen decor and functions flawlessly.

It does all it should. I like the variable power..
It beeps a few times when food is ready and then quits.
My previous GE would beep forever.
