This was a great product to use for sun protection. This is not intended to be used for rain blocking. It is great for the strong Colorado sun. It helped turn our deck into a functional patio even on 100 degree days. The sunshade does a great job.

Just finished building a 40X10 patio cover with some tough angles in it. Built a frame with 4x4 posts and 2x6 runners and this stuff just rolled out over the top. Easy to work with. Two people can do it, but would be easier with more hands. Cooler in my living room and I can leave the blinds up because it blocks so much heat and still lets in light. Has lived up to all the reviews! Arrived as scheduled in great condition.
Already have first wind and rain storm and it's like nothing ever happened. Water runs through it so no worries about standing water.
Cheaper alternative to pergola and provides more shade.

Used it to cover my patio. It cooled the area by a good 10 degrees because the sun doesn't warm the patio floor anymore. Great sun-block that allows my kids to play in the afternoon, even in the summer of Dallas.
Recommend securing with 1"x2" wood batons. Use wide washers under screws to prevent wooden batons from splitting.

My husband and I bought this 12'x50' cloth and cut it in half (12'x25') and made an outdoor shade cover for our patio. After cutting in half, we hot-glued a 2" seam on both cut ends and lightly ironed to hold; attached grommets and hung up to extend our patio cover. Very durable material. Be careful if you use hot glue or an iron because fabric will melt if it gets too hot! Provides great shade and still lets light in!

I LOVE this product, it is impossible to find it in the stores in MI. Thank you Home Depot fpr carrying it online, I used it to cover a patio in Vegas. Brought a piece of it back to MI 12 years ago and it still looks great and has covered 2 different patio's. Now that I built a new pergola, it was time for a different style of covering, and I didn't have enough to use the older piece. It is very easy to work with, cut and sew. The new shades are beautiful, just finished installing them yesterday in time for spring & summer enjoyment. I am sure they will last longer than the structure. Great price & service. Thanks Again.

High quality fabric for a fair price. I am using it over a carport to protect cars from Florida sun. A local awning company uses this product extensively at Busch Gardens. That is where I got the idea. Easy to work with.

The Perfect Shade Cloth

We built a pergola for our deck in our very sunny, hot back yard. The amount of shade provided by the cloth is perfect -provides lots of shade, but is not dark. Very easy to attach - we used screws and washers (too thick for grommets). Will be easy to take down in the winer too (since it snows we must take it down). The color is perfect. I can't say enough about the cloth except that I highly recommend it.
