The RIDGID 16-Gallon Wet/Dry Vac features a 5 peak HP motor that provides powerful suction for heavy-duty cleanups. The blowing port offers over 160 MPH of blowing capacity ideal for blowing leaves from walkways and decks, and the polypropylene drum resists dents, rust and corrosion. The vacuum has an accessory storage space at the top of each caster for quick access to attachments and includes a built-in drain for easy emptying of liquids.

I needed a shop vac to finish removing water from the bottom of my pool and didn't want something to big and too heavy. This vac was excellent and did a great job. and was on sale which made it even a better value. Highly recommend this vac

Perfect for garage/garden...only drawback would be tool accessories mediocre at best....round brush folds into itself making pick-up frustrating

Works great. Has extra attachments and performs very well. I used the "buy online and pickup in store" feature, but ended up waiting for about 12 mins before I could pick it up.

Terrible product - read the reviews and thought this would be a good product. Terrible product. Clogs after a couple minutes use. Easy to put together as it's a cheap piece of equipment. Will return if HD will take it back.

This wet dry vac is amazing I went to a main competitor and picked up the only one they had (shop-vac) and it was junk and more expensive. I returned it and got this one. I don't have any complaints at all. It has excellent suction and I love that all the accessories are easily stored with it.

I bought this vacuum for the price thinking that I can get some kind of use from it. I got it home and soon found out that it was a powerful and useful tool around my work shop. I sucked up nuts,bolts and anything else that would go down the hose.

I had a Shop Vac 12 gallon unit prior, which died. So I bought the best unit for the lowest cost, and ended up with this Ridgid 16 gallon unit, which is fantastic! It suction is very good, rolls easily, and is not heavy. I had to go online, and then find a local store that had one because the online order did not include shipping.

Tremendous value in this product. Not only does this vac have great suction, the warranty that comes along with Ridgid products is unbeatable as well. I would recommend to anyone. Don't spend a dime more on another shop vac. This is all you'll need!

went to HD today to look at shop vacs. seen this one for 50 and couldn't believe it. bought it, got it home and it works amazing. even sucked up the half inch stones that get drug into my car. worth every penny and more. the blower also works very well. It blew gravel, leaves and mulch off my walkway to my front porch with ease.

the hoses on this vac were small (1 1/2) so I returned it and exchanged it in store for the more powerful WD1450
which turns out is not only more powerful (6hp) but slightly quieter than the WD1637. Suction could be better for a 6hp motor but it's still a good value...I'm happy I made the switch.

Price point and suction is great! Not super loud which is nice too. Hose isn't as sturdy as I'd like but its not that bad. Worked nicely to clean out my car too. I'm becoming more and more of a Ridgid fan every day :)

I had been looking for a wet/dry vac for several weeks scanning weekend ads or the internet. I had to go into Home Depot for a couple of items to finish a project. The sales associate answered all my questions as usual and just happened to ask if I was in the market for a wet/dry vac as they had a deal.. I must admit no one else had anything like it for the price and they absolutely didn't have a lifetime warranty! I've only had it for a month connected to my table saw but it does the job with no hesitation. I am curious how it will do with water and the normal stuff I usually have on the floor after the grandkids help out. Time and another big project or two will tell. So far, it's a keeper!

I have used it to dry shampooed carpets that were let wet by the carpet machine; and in the shop it gets everything from sawdust to leaves that blow in when the door is open.

I wanted a vac with good suction, and this certainly does the job. I would have liked one a bit smaller if I could have found one with the same HP in a smaller size. Also, I wish it had a few more attachments.
