Our house was built in 1955 and has windows in the bathroom, so no fans. I HATE bath fans. I cannot stand the noise and also cannot stand when they are on the same switch as the light. I do not want to listen to one as I do my make up or after I am in the shower. So I was VERY picky about the one we were going to install. We started getting pealing paint in our shower stall... so I felt we HAD to put one in. This one is on its own switch, so I do not have to have it on when the light is on. It is SILENT! That means a lot coming from me.... because I NEVER wanted one. My electrician (I work in property management and have vendors that are very honest with me) said do not spend less than $100 on one or you will hate it. He said you will think you are saving money, but the thing will rattle and always bother you. So I chose this one and even he was impressed at the capacity to move the air and the lack of noise it made. Very sleek cover and it seems like that will also be easy to clean. My advice is, don't be cheap and pop for one under $100... by this one and you will not regret it!

We use to have a previous model by Nu-tone which isn't made anymore but were recommended this model and it works perfectly. It's silent thus creates a soothing environment in the bathroom.

My wife wanted a quiet fan and after research I select this fan. It is taller than many so it may not fit all spaces, but other than that it was straight forward to install. My satisfaction came when my wife told me the fan wasn't working. I made her stand under it while I turned it on and off and only then did she detect the quiet sound. She was pleased with the fan and me.

I ihave a 65 sq.ft. bathroom with a shower that gets plenty of use from my family of 5. The 14 year old 80 cfm I had installed when I got the house recently died. I then purchased the QTREN080 ...Identical in every way except it moves 80 cfm instead of 110 cfm. The bathroom mirror was still fogging up with the 80 cfm so I retuned and purchased the 110cfm instead am glad I did.. Quiet, effective and energy efficient :-) & I wish this fan was also inexpensive and my wife and daughters all like the new fan.
