Sometimes you need only a small amount of compound, say, for patching holes, or for trying to minimize the effects of other's framing or hanging mistakes. This is what I'm doing with this pre-mix; along with adding a texture to the walls and ceiling. This product handles these jobs well. I am able to mix in a small amount of water to get just the right consistency for my hopper/gun. It has a nice creamy texture going on, sands easily, and is always strong enough to do the job right after curing.
