This item was very easy to install. The quality for the price looks very expensive. All the parts were in the box and nothing was broken. I also purchased the 5 light chandelier and the pendant and I'm so glad I did. Will also be purchasing the 4 light fixture for all 3 of my bathrooms. The reviews also help me make up my mind. I had been looking for over a year for new light fixtures. If you are still not sure go into your local store to see the display.

Light has an antique apperance, that fits well in my family room. The light is muted and works well in my room, but it is not approptiate for reading.

The only problem with this light is that it is not meant to "light up a room"! Tried it in my kitchen and because of the heavily stained globe, it does not allow enough light, way too muted. Needs to be used as an "accent" light only, not a main fixture light. Loved the style though!
Pros: Unique, Looks Great, Stylish
Cons: not meant as a "main" light fixture in a room

After reading all 5-star reviews, I have ordered chandelier and three semi-flushed lights from this collection. It shipped fast, but after opening the package, I realized the following:
1) The color on four handles and leafs is more black-ish not golden-yellow. Looks like they all have been burnt. (Maybe during the summer BBQ season) This happens to all three semi-flushed lights.
2) One of the lights I ordered in fact was broken.
3) The shade for semi-flush is cheaply made, two glass shades are not even the same height.
4) The white-dotted paint inside the dark yellow shades make it very cheap looking.
5) The carving on the light is very rough, if you look into details, none of three are precisely carved.

As my personal evaluation, I can not believe this product can ever receive 5-star. Luckily, these was purchased from homedepot. All now returned and will never buy any lights from HamptonBay again ever.

I bought the complete set. The fan, the mini pendant, the large pendant, recessed cans and semi flush mount. I love how there is a NICE complete set. I hate mismatched lights in the kitchen and now my kitchen, dining, and living room all match.
Very elegant looking for not too big a hit on the bank account.

I purchased 4 semi-flush mount and 1 chandelier for a client in the re-design of their home. The price point of these fixtures is great. They look wonderful and the clients are very pleased. My daughter also purchased a chandelier for her home and loves it.

Love this collection. I bought all the fixtures from this collection except for the pendant, just didnt have the extra room for the piece.
I installed this fixture in the rooms where the ceiling fan was just too large and in the entry way.

We have an open floor plan and purchased the matching fan and chandelier last year to replace builder grade white lighting fixtures. Added this one for the kitchen and hallways. It made a dramatic difference and has such a nice Tuscan warm tone. They look much more expensive and are such a good value for the price.

We just love this line. We purchased a total of 4 pieces from this set, and plan to buy the bathroom lights as well. We have had this set for over a year and have had NO problems with it. We actually have this light in our hallway and it is a little dim so yes use the highest wattage you can. Wasnt to hard to install either. Overall would recommend this light.

Me and my huband purchase the chateau devile 2 , 2 weeks ago . as soon as my husband put it on, the living room looked magnificent-we also purchase the matching fan and chandelier- it tide in with the over all look of our formal dinning and living room .

Looks great.Beautiful. However finish on this fixture is not the same as Chateau Deville 52" ceiling fan. I bought it to match. So was a little disappointed. But it is not a big deal. Worth the money.
