Customer reviews for Red Delicious Apple

Red Delicious Apple

This beautiful deciduous fruit-bearing tree is the most popular eating apple in America. This fruit tree is a great pollinator with other varieties, fruits and flowers best with rich, moist soil in full sun, but will tolerate less hospitable conditions just as well. This beautiful tree produces firm, sweet and juicy fruit. Mature specimens grow up to 15 ft. in height spread. Maintain tree size by pruning. This item is shipped bare-root which means it is dormant with no leaves, no soil, and the roots are exposed.

I purchased 2 apple, 1 peach, and 1 plum tree. All were very healthy with full branches. Better trees than at the local store. Very pleased with my purchase.

The Trees we received looked young, thoroughly pruned and ready to plant. It is difficult at this point to rate these as they are just planted this year and it will take a couple of years growth to see what their annual production and quality will be. That is not a surprise as all new Fruit Trees will take 2 to 3 years before they start producing Fruit that is gradable.
Pros: Easy to Install, Strong, Good Shape
Cons: not able to select the actual tree(s) at purchase

Hard to review a product that won't mature for years to come. Suffice to say, it's greening up after putting it in the ground. Might take a few more years for a throrough review after it fruits.
