I like the fact that this is a 15 gauge gun instead of the common 16 gauge, however with that said I have had at least 4 misfires since I have purchased the unit. I have only been using it for about a month now, and mainly building small signs and boxes out of old pallets for our country wedding this June. This is my first nail gun, so I dont really have anything to compare it to. Other than that it is very straight forward in its operation, loading procedure, and has cut my construction time down by 70 - 80%.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Accurate, Strong, Good Size & Weight
Cons: a few misfires

I purchased this in a compressor / finish nailer combo to use around the house and on my rentals. I am very happy with the overall quality for the price. I used both the nailer and the brad nailer on some cabinet work made of oak. It had no problem and never jammed or miss fired, as I had read in some reviews. Growing up in the cabinet business I have used commercial grade finish nailers. I would not recommend for heavy day to day use, but for personal use very happy. Oil daily before use as recommended

All of my nailers and routers are Hitachi and You cant go wrong with them.
This is another winner from Hitachi and Ive used them all and this one works like its supposed to.
It doesn't jam its really boring in that there's no surprises,it just keeps working.
I highly recommend this nailoer to anyone needing dependable tools.

This was the first Hitachi product I have owned, that was three years ago, this replaced a flooded (by Ike) Bostich.
Happy with it so far.

As owner of a small construction company, Hitachi nail guns have proven themselves time and time again. With proper maintenance these guns last a very long time. Very Pleased will all of my Power Nailers.
