I was specifically drawn to this door because it is ready to install and it would allow all items in the linen closet to airate properly here in sunny Florida. All that is needed is a swiffer ran across the door and between the slits to maintain its cleanliness. There is no need to seek a painter and his high prices because the door is sold pre hung. The only negativity, although small, just make sure there are no dings or cracks. Otherwise, you are good to go.

This folding door set, while made of "wood", is cheap pine, with the frames constructed of 12" long finger-jointed pieces.
It arrived with one broken finger joint, and I had to partially disassemble one door and glue the broken joint.
Some of the hinge screws arrived broken, or stripped out of the wood, and the hinges were very cheap and barely moved.
Basically I had to rebuild the door before I could paint and install it.
To add insult to injury, my 24" door had to be special-ordered and cost nearly twice as much as a "wooden" 30" doorset which was in stock at the local store.

I ordered four doors, three 24" and one 28". All were supposed to be "cherry". The three 24" doors were beautiful and looked "cherry". The 28" door looked different, more like walnut? I returned the first 28" door thinking it was a mistake. I reordered another "cherry" 28" door. It came and was exactly like the first one, "walnut". So much for matching doors??

We bought this door to isolate our pantry/laundry room from the kitchen. We went with this door since it is slightly smaller than most 30x80 doors and the doorway was a little short (78.75"h). We had a handyman install it and I am glad we did. He had some trouble with it, not so much with the door itself but the door frame was not level (old house so nothing is level) and so he did have to take ~0.25" off the bottom to make it fit and play around to make sure the door itself was as level as possible so it opened and closed smoothly.
For the price I was hoping for something with a little more weight to it. The door is quite light and in the beginning could feel a bit flimsy at times, but I don't notice that much anymore. It looks great and works well but it isn't the cheapest bifold door out there but I don' regret the purchase.

Both sets of doors came in on the same day. Well packaged and arrived safely. Between the two sets, there is a difference in the white. Really didn't notice it until they were side-by-side. The real snag was that one of the doors is warped a bit, and therefor won't stay completely closed, and made installing and aligning a hassle. But, still a good value for the price, and if I had needed only one, it would have been a breeze.

I ordered three 24 x 80 and one 28 x 80 doors. The three 24" doors all looked alike and were very cherry in appeareance. However the 28" looked more like walnut so I returned it. I ordered a second 28" and it came in the same walnut appearence. Both 28" doors were labeled "cherry"?? Sad in that we wanted a cherry appearence thought out our condo.

Installation instructions were pretty easy to follow and installation was easy enough for us. Fit into door space well; wish we could have purchased this size in store. We received it within 5 days of ordering so that was a plus.

Sized exactly right for the 28" opening of our laundry room and the installation process was a snap, literally.
All that was necessary was to mount the hearder rail, with 3 screws provided, press two small parts into predrillied holes in one panel and snap the door into place.

I actually used these as plantation shutters for my door side light/windows. I framed out the windows and hung these inside the frame, worked great and looks beautiful. Probably work well as bifold door also.

The doors look great, but they are made of cheap materials for the size. They don't open or close properly and installing them/their tracks is difficult. Would recommend something of higher quality for everyday use.

because i bought 2 of them to go together all the hardware came except the two little brackets that come with the doors to make sure they close flush with one another. your store carries parts except for them.......

Bought 2 of these for laundry room. Look great and were a breeze to install and adjust. They do have a more plasticky feel than wood composite, but they do not look cheap. Nice southern charm with the extra wide slats.

I am so pleased with these Plantation bi-folds. They are exactly as described annd were easy to install. Replaced regular bifolds and are such an improvement. I don't understand the reviewer who said they were thin - not at all. And of course they don't take paint - read the descriptions of the products before you buy!

the door showed up quickly and was well packaged. Installation was straightforward. My wife loves it, we used it to as the door to the a/c air handler in the laundry room. I plan on ordering a differently sized door like this from HD.
