We rarely use the utility tub in our laundry, but we always need extra flat surfaces (who doesn't?) This cover works great. It has a small lip around the edge which keeps it from sliding off - awesome for us as we use this space for the cat's food and water. It is pretty strong - the cat uses it for a launching and landing pad.
The only reason I didn't give the cover five stars is that it doesn't match the tub perfectly - the tub is slightly off-white with specks in it. The cover is white with no specks.

I wish I had found this long ago. I have a small laundry room, and don't often use my utility sink. This top is perfect to create a sturdy flat surface where I can sit my laundry basket
