I was getting frustrated with snails and slugs eating everything in my garden, except the weeds. Tried some homemade and organic options, but the infestation was too much for me to handle. I just got tired of seeing my precious plants destroyed! Not to mention all the hours of hard work and love GONE... in a slimy moment.
Read about SLUGGO mentioned from a garden blog after hours and hours of internet research. Thought, "Hey why not? Seems the least destructive and toxic way to go."
So off to Home Depot website I go and bought it.
Read the instructions, applied, and within a few days saw fewer snails and slugs. It even rained at some point, and the stuff still worked! Note I said fewer, it does not completely eradicate them the instant you apply to your garden. But wow, what a difference!
Definitely a recommendation! Just take care around pets. It says safe, but I still kept my puppy away from the treated areas, just in case.

I had slugs maybe 20 to 40 a night at my front door. Sometimes they were on the door & once one got inside. I put this out knowing the label said it takes a week to work. I could even put a little piece in front of a slug & it would take to it like a baby to a bottle. 2 days later no more slugs. Product has no odor. This bottle is enough to last me the rest of my life. Great buy!

I got rid of the snails in my garden, finally! It is not dangerous for my cats, and my plants benefit from it. I saw the results after the second application. I would definitely recomend this organic product!

Sluggo is grain-based pellets laced with iron phosphate crystals. It is a bio-degradable, non-chemical SLUG KILLER. It is safe around pets and can be used around your vegetables.
