The toilet performs perfectly, as advertised. The height is taller than our other toilets. We like that very much. It does not come with a seat or wax doughnut. Shipment was made timely to our front door.

I love the Cadet III dual-flush. I've lived and worked in Germany and Belgium for 16 years and hate coming back to use the standard "swirl in the bowl" single flush toilets in the US. Also, I've plunged so many toilets at my houses in the US over the years, but never have in Europe. Duh, finally, someone has figured this out. Last September, when I came back for a two week stay, I finally had enough. I researched styles and prices of dual flush toilets and settled on the Cadet III. The elongated bowl is a plus, as is the 16.5 inch height--amazing the difference that 1 1/2 inch makes. I've just returned for another two weeks and replaced a second toilet with a Cadet III. No problem flushing solids, and the grandkids don't use a ton of water. Very easy to install. Unfortunately, old habits die hard and builders aren't exactly innovative or efficient. Do yourself a favor; get one of these!! I paid $198 at Home Depot.

Best toilet in the world - PERIOD. Wanna save water and not worry about backing up a toilet? This is the one!! Dual flush, one for liquid (1 gallon flush) and one for solids (1.6 gallon flush). I weigh 240 lbs and I can't clog it. Nuff said

We've had it a month and I couldn't be happier with this toilet. It is quiet and flushes completely, no clogs and no re-flushing necessary yet. The dual flush feature is great, and I often use the #1 button no matter what. It gets the job done!
It comes without a seat, so be sure to order that too. It has a smaller tank, so it seems small overall even though the elongated bowl is larger than our old toilet. The seat height is comfortable, not too high for me, even though I'm only 5'4".
It's a little more expensive than other toilets we considered, but I'm glad we went with the American Standard. We also get a $100 rebate from our city for installing a Water Sense toilet, so the final price ends up being very reasonable.

Purchased this commode to replace a 32 year old, 3 gallon a flush American Standard commode. It installed easily with the extra thick wax ring, even with the laminate floor that was being installed simultaneously. Performance is top notch, with no waste remaining in the bowl and reduced water usage. Could not be more impressed with this product. Plan on replacing two other commodes with this model.

Ordered 2 AM Std. toilets. One had the parts bag included but the other did not.
Went to Home Depot (that's where we bought them) and they gave me the needed install parts virtually instantly and with no hassle and a nice "thank you".
We will get 2 more later this year.

We love the water-saver feature of this double flush toilet. The higher height to the seat makes it comfortable especially for older guests. One warning, use a thicker than normal wax-ring when installing this toilet if you have a hardwood or thick ceramic floor. The normal thickness wax-ring will not make a tight seal and you will get water seeping from the bottom of the toilet. The factory setting for the flush mechanism was fine and did not require any adjusting - at least not on the one that we got.

Even the bigger flush option of this toilet are pretty quiet, especially compared to the "assisted flush" clunker we replaced. It was simple for our contractor to install and the whole process (including getting the old toilet out) only took an hour.
The tank is so petite I can actually clean all around the toilet without being a contortionist. Add a slow-close all-plastic seat and this whole thing is very easy to clean and looks great in an updated modern bath.

We got the toilet in and it worked great for about 3 months. Now we can’t get it to stop running, I guess I’m going to have to replace the guts after 3 months. Not worth the money.

This dual flush toilet allows low water usage or higher water usage. Since legislation will soon allow sale of only lower water flushing soon, I wanted to get a product that allows both. Flush action is quick and powerful. Higher bowl is nice for older family members w/weaker thighs

We are very happy with this toilet. Installation was relatively easy (this is the first toilet I ever installed) and the dual flush system works very well (even the low volume flush can be used instead of the high volume flush sometimes). I didn't experience the spraying issue some reviewers mentioned. The only complaint is that the seat provided is flimsy (but I guess that's to be expected, at this price point). Overall, very satisfied and already purchased another one (to be installed soon).

The toilet arrived with all the pieces and no damge. It does require a toilet seat, wax ring and a new water supply line (recommend). Easy, step-by-step instructions that took no time to install, assemble and test run. It is a huge water saver compared to the one I replaced and flushes everything with ease. This was the first toilet I have ever purchased and will be getting another one for the other bathroom. The tank was smaller than my old one so there was no issue for space and went from round to elongated base with no issues.

Shipping went well. However no seat and one I bought was broke. Couldn't get it shipped to store but had to go there for seat and water line anyway. Works well after one month. No issues. Saves water. "Button flush" takes a mindset change. Install went well even for a non-plumber....
