The fan is both beautiful and quiet.
If you leave the white rubber bands on the glass shades and use a 60 watt incandescent (which I have) the bands will smell like burnt rubber as they don't stand up to the heat. Just remove them when assembling and you won't have any issues.

# 4 of 5 ceiling fans installed. works like a charm. and with the light fixture, accomplishes 2 jobs ... Loved the other 3 Hunter Fans...and as long as the quality and price continue, I'll but a 5th fan when ready...

Amazing deal with light kit that includes instant on CFLs. Astounding value. Much higher quality than the 25 year old Hunters they replaced. Installation easy as replacement. Excellent balance without using the balance kit. Very bright light kit.

My husband and I bought two of these for our new home 1 1/2 yrs ago now... It has been fabulous! Excellent lighting, excellent flow of air throughout the rooms. We are going to purchase another for our loft now!
Needed an extra person to help install it, as it's heavy to hold alone on a ladder, but was easy for him to install. Excellent purchase and highly recommend!

The 46" blades were hard to find. The fan runs smoothly and the lights are very bright, which I was looking for because my daughters room is on the dark side. It has (3) 60W bulbs!
Only issue I have with this fan....the website has it listed as white blades and light oak, which is INCORRECT. The blades are white on white. Not sure if HD has corrected the site. I tried to order the light oak from Hunter but they were unable to get them as a replacement due to this color is not a replacement part for this fan?? So I guess I'm keeping the white blades because it is already installed.

This is the third fan of this model that I have installed in my home.They are easy to install and have a good appearance.They come with light bulbs and put out adequate lighting.So far I haven't had any problems with them.

I bought two Hunter ceiling fans for the small bedrooms. I bought them to replace two ceiling fans that were very noisy. Hunter ceiling fans are quiet and a great value for the price. They were easy to install and I'm very happy with them.

Wasted most of a day fiddling with canopy screws! Expected more of a Hunter product. It was NOT a problem with use of the incorrect screw. The screw went in an eighth of an inch at most and stopped so the mounting plate would not accept further penetration. Difficulty with other screws as well, but not as impossible. Had to box up and take back to Home Depot, returned without hassle.

My wife and I selected this fan to match the brushed nickel of all the other light fixtures and the brown wood finish of the blades to match the living room shelves and entertainment center. It was perfect. Installation took about 1 1/2 hours. Fortunately, my ceiling was fan-ready. Instructions were easy to follow.
