This is an awesome way for comfort in your home or in your yard when you are the caregiving of a parent who is 87 years old, ailing with dementia. My Dad is able to remain in his home, familiar with his own surroundings and I have comfort in knowing if he passes one of the Motion Sensors where he is at and what he is doing. Each one can be programmed for what area it is assigned and I am notified by the number of beeps from the base unit in my home. Very inexpensive, easy to install and I would recommend this item highly with an overall rating of 5+++.

sensor is simple to mount and adjust. instructions are clear. unit works at long ranges. unit has unique ring. unit i one of 8 possible sensors per one base. has a sun shield. unit has yet to make a false positive. its overall the ideal sensor for a farm at least. probably good for warehouses and other large area complexes. i plan on ordering more of these to compliment the 2 i already have. no one can sneak up on you. the plastic housings seem very strong.

THESE THINGS REALLY WORK GREAT AND THEY HOLD UP TO WEATHER. I LIVE ON THE OCEAN AND MINE HAS BEEN OUTDOORS FOR 2 YEARS NOW. IT LETS ME KNOW IF PEOPLE WALK BY OR IF A CAR COMES UP THE DRIVEWAY. I ALSO HAVE 1 ON A BLOCK OF WOOD SO I CAN MOVE IT TO THE GARDEN TO ALERT ME OF PESTS AT NIGHT. I HAVE HAD OTHER MOTION SENSORS , BUT THEY DO NOT HOLD UP TO THE ELEMENTS.

Have had 2 sensors & base for 3 years. My range of use is about 500 feet. Only recently has 1 of the sensors began to not always respond, even with new batteries. Can be set off by reflections from winshield of cars passing on nearby street. Have sent 2 thieves to jail. Going to replace the one bad sensor & add 2 more.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: cheap sun shields

Easy to set up..easy to minimize false activations. The range is very good. Started with one and have purchased four more for outbuildings. Only complaint is the base unit. Not quite sure why Chamberlain went cheap on alert tone..can get annoying (only one tone choice) but you can turn it off..just need to remember to turn the volume back up. Cuts down on surprise guests. Waiting to see how plastic design holds up.
