I purchased this vacuum because my Craftsman vacuum had a broken wheel and i was tired of dealing with the over sized hose on the Craftsman.
My hands are large and I still had a difficult time holding onto the hose on the Craftsman, I like the size of the Ridgid hose and adapters. I would have liked to have a larger / wider floor cleaning head with possible brushes for cleaning hard floors.
The Ridgid is nice and short giving it a low center of gravity making it easier to move over obsticles without tipping over like my Craftsman would.

This shop vac is so powerful, I actually have to be careful it doesn't take something I didn't want to vacuum up. I've had it for 2 years now and it's going strong. I only use it indoors in my house and to clean the car. We have a second shop vac that we use for the dirty jobs.

This unit is an extremely powerful for a portable vac and the 20 ft. cord is nice. While suction was great the quality and quantity of the accessory pack left much to be desired. The hose is stiff and not as flexible as I expected. It only comes with two nozzles and to really make it useful on carpets I had to purchase the Claw Car-Cleaning Nozzle separately. This item should come standard and would make for a complete “out of the box” experience. Instead I had to drive back to the store and spend more money.

I didn't have to assemble anything. It is ready to go right out of the box. It is manuverable and light enough to carry upstairs. I even vac my dog with it and she loves it. It was less expensive to buy this than to fix my old heavy upright.

Overall this vacuum is perfect for the everyday clean up of construction debris and dust. has a nice strong suction and a hose that can take the larger debris. Good purchase for the money.
One con to this is the hose material. It is thin and after a while tends to crimp near the cleaner itself creating a blocking point for the debris being picked up. I took a small brace and a couple of hose clamps to stop the bend in this area and have had no further concerns with the vacuum., '

This is the shop vac I've been looking for. It has great suction, onboard tools, easy mobility, and it's lightweight. The only negative is that it is difficult to open the filter compartment.

Great vac nice compact size.Negatives are you have to get all new tools from old vac. And the latches that hold the top down are impossible to open.

Purchased this vacuum to clean up the mess a handyman was making in my house during a kitchen remodel. I am totally satisfied with the power of this vacuum. I've picked up drywall dust with the fine particle filter with no problems. The only snag I see is the plastic hose could be a little better quality or of different material. Other than the hose, the included accessories are pretty good to do most jobs. I use it to clean the garage, spiderwebs, car, and other daily chores.

This little vac is perfect for cleaning the car and getting the water out of the garage after a storm. Haven't had the need to use it much but so far it has been a champ. Plenty of suction, good selection of attachments, nice long power cord, and nice long vac hose. The only minus would be that the extension tubes are a little awkward when stored in the bin and the hose is a little awkward to stow when not in use. Very minor in my opinion.

I bought this vac to vacuum for maintaining my 60,000 Btu pellet stove. We needed a good filter to handle tiny fly ash, power to handle larger ash chunks from the ash pan, plenty of accessory options and a small profile to store in the house near the stove. Exceeded all expectations! No ash escapes the filter, and thus, the vacuum. Ash coats the filter thoroughly after a few stove cleanings, but I remove the filter and using my air compressor, blow the ash from the inside out. A single filter has handled an entire season. I'll replace the filter for next winter. This is the 6th shop-vac I've owned in my life and is by far the best of the 6.
It's so good, it has also become my Flo-Bee vac, replacing a similarly sized but less powerful vac. (Yeah... I'm not kidding about the Flo-Bee. Seriously... Heck, the Flo-Bee has paid for itself and the vacuum at $15 a cut.)

I was looking for a small wet/dry vac to use on the cars. This one is perfect. Small and light weight. My concern was the noise but this one isn't very loud. There is a muffler available but I won't be getting one. I'm happy with my purchase and will recommend this to everyone.

Great dry vac. Powerful but small does not take up as much room while working. 5hp motor does it's job. Nothing worse that having a shop vac that does not suck up the mess or gets clogged every other min. Not problems with this unit. Large diameter hose is great.

Out of the box to plugged in and working took only minutes. I'm glad I got this one with the bigger motor. It is a sucking sucker! I did get the muffler after reading reviews, and am glad I did. Only issue with muffler is the tube storage is blocked for one of the tubes. But really, not a big issue!

The first one I bought broke after a few uses, but Home Depot promptly replaced it and this one works fine. It could use a bit more suction IMO but still a great value.
