Thieves simply bent this door in half and smashed in my front door. If I had installed a double cylinder dead bolt on it it would have been a little more difficult for them, but the single cylinder locks that Home Depot had in stock and not double cylinder locks last month made the burglary a piece of cake.

A little flimsier than expected, but for the price you really can't beat it. The door jamb is covered by a plate so it can't be pryed open. Took my time and used the plastic spacers used as packing for the gaps made it easier to install. I sleep better now, and I'm buying another one. Perfect for the zombie apocalypse.

this door is very sturdy, The only problem is the tool included to install the screws that come with the door will, and are easy to strip out. we went to the hardware store and bought regular bolts.

The frame is thin guage steel. Weld points could have covered more surface area. The hinges are welded at only two spots and the strike plate could easily be bent to undo the locks. Only a screwdriver would be needed to break this door apart. Good as a visual deterent not an actual one.

I moved into my house in 1994 and this door was already here. I keep my front door open as much as the weather will allow, the dogs love it, and they jump and scratch any time something walks by. A few years ago, I spray painted it and it looked like new again. It has been a great door, but the screen part has finally torn and is now poking out and I'm afraid we're all going to get tetanus. Finally it's time to replace it, but ... I'd say it's been a great value, especially now that I see how inexpensive it was.

I just bought my first home, this security door was the first thing I installed on my two doors. I did one door by myself, it was a little tricky trying to level everything out on my own,I bought the wooden shims and they really helped. They are $2.00 and located right by the doors in the store, I highly recommend them. Also, use a drill bit that's closer to the thickness of the screws. The screws are long and very hard to screw in if you use the recommended drill bit. Last but not least, the screws are one way screws, so you should also buy the one way screw drill bit (especially if you'll need to remove or adjust the door), but a large flat head screw driver works fine for the install.

I did all the windows and both doors of my residence with the Su Casa series. We read about the problems people had with the one-way screws, and bought the special driver to install them. It was a piece of trash, as were the screws. Several stripped bolts, smashed fingers, a broken bit and a busted window later I seriously wish I had never bought these.

This steel door was the easiest door I have ever hung. Remember the double cylinder deadbolt and door handle lock set are not included. Use a double cylinder deadbolt as the expanded metal screen can still be punctured and door handles could then be reached from outside. This door was an excellent value for the cost. I am surprised that this is not a home depot stocked item.

I looked high and low for a security screen for my apartment door and this was perfect! Perfect price (which is the most important) and it was perfect for security, appearance and it allows me to keep my house door open at my leisure with no issues of my cats, daughter insects etc. coming in or out.

This doors worked well for the application I needed it for. I am using them at the end of two stairwells going to an upstairs apartment and they worked perferctly for this situation.

I could not believe how nice this door is for the money. Delivery was reasonable and prompt. I installed it myself (57 yr old female), but didn't use the giant, one way screws, since I'm a renter and though I got permission, I didn't want to do something that would be a hassle to undo. I bought six replacement bolts, which were easier for me to install. I put some appliance white on them so they'd match, bought a cheap lockset and voila! It provides privacy, security and above all AIR FLOW!!! I think it looks nice too!

This door is of nice quality for this kind of cash, and much better than expected! The door looks elegant while providing extra security for our screened in front porch. The shipping on this was next to nothing. Highly recommend!

I was happy about the fact that the person contacted me and let me know the exact day he was going to deliver my door and he was here just as he informed me. the only problem I had was my door was just a little damaged at the bottom. I am still happy its just that in the future I will try and get delivered at the store to get it checked or I will get the person that deliver to check for demages.

It may take some work to custom fit this door, but well worth
the effort. I feel alot better with these (I got two of them) protecting my house. I am often gone for long periods of time when I'm at work and these doors really would probably make a burglar just go pick another house when they see one!
They are extremely well put together, and also easy on the eye....as well. They are priced right also. If you get this door, you'll be glad you did.
