The filter does work well and makes a difference in how our tap water tastes overall. Just don't understand why they are not cheaper in price and last only about 3-6 months.

Unit should have a form of sensor to determine when it is dirty enough to warrant replacement. Ex. If I do not use the water for 6 mos it will still indicate that the filter should be replaced. This is good for LG but costly for the consumer.

I am not disappointed with this filter. The filter does an excellent job making the water taste great. I love to drink water and since I bought this refrigerator with this filter I drink even more water because it tastes very good.

Filter definately makes a difference. The only issue i have with the filter would be the cost. I had to go over a year before i could replace it. But when i did, what a difference in the taste.
