We needed more light in our walk-in shower so after much thought found this window. It is perfect installed in the wall of our shower - looks great and lets in the light we needed. Home Depot shipped if much faster than we expected so that was great. The only problem is, it's very heavy so lifting it overhead was a bit of a challenge for my husband. It also came in a flimsy box for it's weight so it was torn open from the handling of UPS. But, it was packed very well and no damage.

I ordered on line and bought two windows and they looked really good when I received them ... Except I measured wrong ... I called my local store and was told I could return them to the store and exchange them for the correct size. Once we had the correct windows the installation took about an hour for each window. It helped to have someone help hold the window to make sure it didn't fall though the opening before it was shimmed and mortared in place. They look great and I am very happy.

The measures are 15 1/2 inches by 31 1/2 inches. The shipping was very fast and safe, don't worry about broken glass, that would not happen. I finished this window with a white door trim kit from the Home Depot with fluted casing (about $15) (had to buy 6 additional squares for the corners because I have installed the trim door on both sides of the window. This window looks very nice, the glass is high quality, the only thing is that the silicon in the joints was a little uncured, and the glass surface was not totally clean of it. But anyways it was easy to clean. So finally I have natural light (I have installed it in an interior wall), this bathroom had no windows and was very dark. and it looks very nice. My wife loves how it looks and that makes my happy.

I replaced two of my bathroom window with these block glass window. Huge difference! Lets the light in, and also provides privacy. Note you will need some man power, because they are very heavy. But well worth it!

Real glass block window set with silicone in a thin vinyl frame. The window came with nail fins that snapped into the frame for installation. The 32x24 window weighed approximately 70 pounds, so it took some help to install it. I had it level and installed in less than 15 minutes.

We are really pleased with the look of this window. It was placed in a shower and is a huge improvement over the standard window we had. The biggest draw back is that the window is extremely heavy and awkward to maneuver into place. Once in place the installation wasn't to difficult.
Pros: Beautiful Appearance, Great Value, Easy to Clean

While the, "nail up strips" are virtually useless, the window was an easy install using shims to hold it in and a few tubes of high grade, 100% clear silicone as the bonding medium. The customer and every other trade that saw it was very impressed. I couldn't have purchased the block for the price that the window came, complete. I would purchase and happily install this particular product again. It was shipped quick and wrapped in enough bubble wrap to wrap a battleship...

I installed this window in the shower area of my bathroom. It looks good, is water tight and with a spray on frosting it lets light is not see through. I will say that the joints of the block had to be re-sealed with clear silicone, as they had huge gaps from the factory, and the corners of a few blocks had cracked in shipping, but with a little clear sealer you can't even tell. For the price its a good buy, but you get what you pay for. Also the Plasitc mounting strips they give you are almost worthless as well as the vinyl frame the window sits in. With a little enginuity and the right tools though it goes in, looks good and should last quite a while.

This is our second window. Put the first one in the shower in the remodeled bathroom. This one was for the kitchen. The first attempt at shipping was a failure. "UPS" destroyed it. AS USUAL. After a return at Home Depot, (with no questions asked, gotta love that), the next one was sent to the store and arrived in tact. It went in with ease using the "nail-up" flanges. Siliconed it into place and it looks great. Couldn't be easier. Great product, would recommend to anyone.

"REAL" Glassblock window unit 46"X46"

This window is a "true" glassblock unit that comes assembled inside a vinyl frame. The weight is about 200 pounds. This is "not" an acrylic window that weighs about 45 pounds so be aware. The shipping weight from the factory was about 500 pounds when it's packaged and shipped by truckline on a wooden pallet. The window looks great, is much better than any acrylic unit but you have to get it "UP" to the window frame for install. This window can be installed from inside if you have enough access. The biggest challenge is moving this heavy unit but for the money it's a great buy. Customer Service was great. We got a call from the shipping company telling us there would be a "freight collect" charge. I had paid shipping when I bought this window on-line at HomeDepot.com. Customer Service took care of this fee and did all of this in just a few hours after we called the 1-800# listed at HomeDepot.com. I recommended this window if you want real glassblock, it's a great price.

This was the perferct fit for my basement window opening. I bought 2 of them to try them out and they fit like a glove. My rough opening was 31 1/2 by 13 7/8. I didn't need the nailing flange as my opening was just big enough to install them. I have 8 more windows to do and I will ordering all of them through Home Depot. You won't be disappointed. Very heavy duty and quality built.

The nail flanges were not useful for replacing basement windows. They are heavy when you have to hoist them up into their spot. They were consistently sized, plumb, and solid.
