These windows were to replace the old basement single panes that were ancient. These windows were super easy to install. I left the flanges on and the windows slid right into the window slots. Did caulking all around the window where the flange joins the window before pushing it into the slot. The windows were anchored with cement nails.Then caulked all around the outside edges. Then filled in around any spaces from inside the house. It rained early the next morning, and not a leak. It is great to be able to slide these windows to the side, get some fresh air circulating in the basement. No bugs with the screen that comes with it.

This is the first time I ordered something like a window online. Usually I shop in my local town or make the 2 hour trip to the city where I can shop in person at Home Depot. However, I needed an "off-size" window for a particular project and this 32 x 16 fit the bill. So I took a chance, ordered, and I am very happy with the speed of shipping, and the product. I would definitely recommend not only this brand of window (which was a better price than what I could order in my local town) but I would also not hesitate in the future to order from Home Depot online again.

Good product - great for the price! Operates smoothly, looks good in my new bathroom. Easy to install. Only thing I don't care for, but it's not that big a deal - is that the 'frame' on the sliding window makes it look smaller than the other side. Again, no big deal. As good as the bigger name brands and the price was right!

Quality appeared to be good. The price was less than comparable windows.
The nailing flange did not have nail holes and the instructions indicated it was to be mortered into place. This was confusing, but I later realized this is common with basements which, however, are not at all common in the western U.S.

Cons: not functional, this product is intended for cement block walls

I don't like that I received them so dirty from the manufacture, but so far I think they are a good window.

The windows were easy to install. Have not tried to paint the vinyl to match siding but I have found instructions for generic painting of vinyl.
