Natural Gas Conversion Kit

After running out of LP tanks at the most inconvenient of times, I finally decided to convert to NG. The kit itself was very straight forward. One word of caution. For certain models of grills, it is not necessary to replace the LP orifices once you remove them. For use by NG, this necessitates having bigger orifices. The kit instructions were somewhat ambiguous in this regard. When in doubt, ask the installers who are running the NG extension line. They will most likely have done this many times before. Also, the instruction book covers MANY different types of grills and models. Make sure you turn to the section that covers your brand of grill. Otherwise, a good kit. Somewhat overpriced. But good quality.

The instructions are bad

Overall I like the kit, but some of the tools and the instructions leave a lot to be desired. The instructions are poorly written and the diagrams are pretty useless. The tool for removing the LP nozzles is made of rubber and wouldn't turn the nozzles. I had to use my own socket wrench to remove the nozzles. Once I got the conversion done, the unit worked great.
