45-Pint Dehumidifier with Patented Pump
The DeLonghi DD45P 45-pint Energy Star Dehumidifier with Patented Pump features a worry-free pump function that allows the unit to continuously discharge moisture without constantly emptying a bucket. The unit can pump water upward to drain out a basement window or into a sink, up to 16 feet with the provided hose. Choose the ideal humidity level by adjusting the humidistat. The electronic controls allow you to monitor relative humidity and temperature. With its frontally located tank and transparent water level window, you can easily see how much water has been collected.

I've used a small commercial dehumidifier previously in a wet basement that worked well only when the temp was over 55F - so useless in winter, good in summer.
This suit used in a double garage used as storage that had a roof leak and lots of items got wet. Files in boxes were damp to touch (not wet) and it smelt musty and damp. Mold had started growing on ceiling.

This unit is so simple to set up and the pump from the catch container let's you set and forget pumping water outside the room. Humidity was 75% and in. Matter of days was down to 55%. It's dried out the Boxes and files. Garage needs full clean out and mld remediation but it's stopped ring a lot of personal belongings.

I've only had the dehumidifier for 3 weeks, so can only say that it works as expected so far. It doesn't have an intermittent shut off feature so its running all the time at least on low power, but I knew that when I bought it from other reviews. The pump works great so don't need to empty the bucket on a daily basis like I used to have to do with my old one.
Pros: Lots of Features, Easy to Use

I have had this product a month and so far it is great. It was very easy to set up. You just have to pay attention to the illustrations for setting up to drain in the floor or using the pump. I am having it pump into my utility sink and it's working great. It is keeping our basement nice and dry. The fan does stay on all the time, but cool air comes out when the compressor is not on. I have not received an electric bill since I installed it, so I am not sure if it is more energy efficient than my old dehumidifier. It is not noisy at all. Our old one was much noisier.

Bought this unit about 2 weeks ago to replace a Maytag that died (after 8+ years of good use). This unit is pretty quiet...not bothersome at all. Absolutely love the pump feature, long tube and can be placed at an upward angle. It's great not to have to empty buckets anymore!!
Only thing I'm not crazy about is that it seems to be taking a long time to lower the humidity level in the basement. The unit read that we were at approx. 57% humidity and in 2 weeks, it still has yet to get under 45% (I have the control set at 40%). My old unit was amazing at pulling the moisture out of the air and to drop where we like the humidity, it would've only taken 2-3 days tops.
Overall, satisfied but not thrilled with the purchase. I guess time will tell how this will hold up.

Our sump pump stopped working, so our basement flooded. This worked wonderfully to get the mustiness out of the air.

We bought 2 of these dehumidifiers for use in the attic after discovering a major condensation problem (moisture literally dripping from the roof) due to inadequate ventilation. The dehumidifiers have been very efficient at removing excess moisture from the air and bringing the humidity level to a more acceptable level within a week. We had plan to run the hoses out of the attic windows. The one think we didn't think about was the fact that at this time of year the hose will freeze so, for now, we are not using the hose.

Needed a dehumidifier with a pump for ease of use. My husband hooked it, didn't take long at all. Continuous emptying makes this a hassle free unit. Made my basement dry and warm -- we store antique furniture for our shop and needed this badly. Within a few days of use, I noticed a huge difference. Nice looking product also. The unit itself was easy to operate, set it to the level you need and that is that. So far, so good. Works very well, highly recommend. Its also fairly quiet.

Just installed it. I have not had it long enough to know if it will develop any problems. One thing I would change is to include a longer discharge hose. I had to go to the hardware store to get one that would reach to the laundry drain pipe. Having a unit with a pump was important to me because the unit is in a rental condo and I did not want to depend on the tenant to empty a water bucket.

Unit does not turn completely off when desired humidity level is met. Cannot program it to turn off and back on in cycles. You can only set it to turn on for a preset time.

Was looking for a dehumidifier with a pump. They are very few and far between. Price was competitive. Home Depots free shipping made the deal. Also, was able to to save time and fuel by purchasing on line.

Dehumidifier well suited for small basement, seems to be handling humidity control without any issues. Easy to setup and pump/tubing avoids need for continual emptying. Only drawback is that the fan stays on continuously even if/when the room humidity dips below the set point. You can use the timer though to mitigate.

It works well, and does the a great job, but since I used it for about two weeks (24 hours a day) by electric bill shot up an extra $100. I haven't been able to determine yet whether it was the dehumidifer or something else.
