They don't move a lot of air but they work better than a standard vent. I wish I would have bought two for my roof, observe the 600 sq. ft. per unit. One thing to note is that they run anytime there is sunlight, even in the winter. Overall I am satisfied with the unit.

As soon as the box was opened and the fan exposed to the sun it started to run. I sucks air out of the attic like a vacuum and has a nice low profile. Apears to be quality built, particuarly the solar panel. The house is cooler and the A/C runs less often. I even raised the thermostat to 75-76, instead of 73-74 with the A/C constantly running.
Yes, I recommend this product.

First, I was surprised how little sunlight it takes to run the fans (I was also surprised that there were 4 small fans instead of one large one). They even began to run while still in the garage. The installation was rather straight forward as long as you are comfortable cutting a hole in your roof. I installed 2 of them. One of them was badly bent in shipping and also had a couple of dents in it. The other one was also bent up but not as bad. I will have to give you an update on how well they help to cool the attic.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Possible moderate cooling with 4 computer sized fans

I didn't realize until I got the item that it uses 4 small fans and not one larger one. The 4 fans are similar to what you would find in a computer tower, maybe slightly larger. I don't know how much air these fans can push. I assume that if it is only partly sunny only a couple of the fans turn, not all four. I climbed into my hot attic the other day to see if the fan was working. All 4 fans were turning. I found one end of the fan array not secured, the screw and bolt were missing. I didn't notice this when I took it out of the box. I don't know if it shipped this way or it got loose and fell out when the roofers installed it. I replaced the screw and bolt, The fans are quiet, but I don't know how much cooler this fan will make my attic with 4 small fans even when they run all day. You probably need a series of 2 or 3 of these fans across your roof depending on the size of your attic to get adequate cooling. My previous fan which was wired in, died after about a year, so I am hoping this fan lasts much longer. Time will tell if I would recommend this product.

This fan was easy to install and works very well. Just as they say, the sun and wind both work very well on pulling the hot air out of the upstairs of my detached garage. An excellent choice.....
Yes, I recommend this product.
