The Hunter Ashlyn 42 in. Indoor Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan is beautifully designed with traditional styling and a versatile finish. It features a powerful, quiet motor that delivers up to 3,350 CFM of airflow, ideal for refreshing small rooms 10 ft. x 10 ft. This fan comes supplied with an integral light fixture that includes two 60-watt candelabra bulbs. Its pull chain controls its 3 speeds and reverse functionality, and a wobble-free canopy promotes proper balance once installed.

I purchased this fan as a replacement for a cheaper fan in my kitchen. It is beautiful and quiet just as I expected from a Hunter. I am a 50 year old "handy woman" and had it installed in about an hour. Love it! And you will too!

We bought this fan for my daughter's nursery. It has a clean, simple look and fits well in a small room. My only concern is that it buzzes when turned on High. Other than that, we're very happy with this purchase.

Fan looks and works great. It was a bit more difficult to aasemble and the instructions were not that clear but with a little patience and common sense I got it hung.

My wife and I purchased this fan for our kitchen, which has a cathedral ceiling. Since there already was a light fixture in the ceiling, I opted to install the fan myself. It was a simple process and took less than an hour, including time to remove the existing fixture. It looks great and we love the stylish polished steel finish. On low, medium or high, the fan is rock steady. It doesn't sway a millimeter. Also, we like the light fixture and its white glass globe that has a frosted pattern to it that makes it much more aesthetic than simply a plain white globe. Only drawback to this fan is that it did not come with a remote control. I opted to purchase one from my local Home Depot and installed it in a few minutes. Now we have full remote capability, including a dimmable light fixture. Voila!

I am very happy with my fans....Notsomuch with the methodof delivery. 2 of 3 purchased online were delivered to a house 2 blocks away. That resident brought them to my house. Traced the 3rd and could not locate it.....The next day, it, too, was delivered to the same wrong address. thankfully, the kind man brought it to me also.

Installation was a breeze. The only thing negative I can say is that the chain that hangs through the center taps the metal housing and is a bit annoying when the fan is on medium or high. I just wrapped a piece of clear tape around the chain to silence the tapping noise.

This is a well made fan. The installation went smoothly. Nice feature of being able to hang the fan on the mounting plate while connecting the wires, making it a one person job. The fan is very quiet. The only issue I have is that the difference between medium speed and low speed is not that great. Overall I'm happy with it.

We ordered two of this style for our daughters' rooms. One arrived broken and had to return for replacement, which also turned up broken.
One is installed and very quiet when running, but the other room is a different story. You definitely hear a noise when it's running. The person who installed our fan said he's had a number of problems with Hunter fans in general (a brand I thought was reputable). I guess...buyer be warned.

Blade mounting screws were too long

A one hour assembly and installation job became a 3 hour job. Poor parts paccaging and/or quality control packed the wrong screws. The blade mounts had to be retaped and the bolts had to be rethreaded.
