The GE 30 in. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Gas Range has 4 burners that include a PowerBoil burner and a Precise Simmer burner to help provide low, even heat distribution. The cast iron grates feature a continuous design so you can easily move pots and pans back and forth. I have had this stove for about a year and a half. The only problem I seem to have is that alot of the time the burn does not want to light it takes a while. Also all the food falls under the great and it seems like you can never keep it clean. Otherwise the delievery was great. The ge employees where friendly.
Pros: Lots of Features, Good Size & Weight
Cons: Not Durable, Difficult to Use

Home depot was great to work with and I love the range. I wans't sure if I liked the grates all accross the top of the range, but it has turned out to be a nice feature. It's a totally level area so the pans or cookie sheets have a nice solid surface to sit on.

This stove is very attractive and has many features. The one I like best is the sabbath mode. This works for me since I am a Sabbath keeper. I can time my food and have it stay warm till I get home. The oven door seems to not close without a gap. I have called service to find out if that's the way the oven is or is there a defect. Other than that, the functionality of the stove is awesome!

Found this oven while searching The Home Depot website. Ordered it on a Thursday & it was delivered the next Monday. The delivery men were fabulous! Very nice :)
They were very perfessional while installing the oven. & explained everything I needed to know.
I have been enjoying cooking & baking since receiving this product.

The stove I had previously was very very plain Jane. No time, just 4 burners and an oven. This is just so way above that I only have one complaint and that is when the timer goes off, it is too soft a sound. Other than that, I love it!

Before purchasing this product, I did a lot of research as to what I wanted. The simple things that make a difference is what I was looking for, and this product has all of them. I needed 4 burners, and it has the power burner that I was looking for, which works great by the way. Self cleaning works as it should, as well as every other feature it says that it has. The not requiring a pilot light with the electronic ignition saves on the cost in the utility bill noticeably. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new gas range. The features along with the overall price of the product is a very good value!!!!

I've come to like GE products more over the last few years and this stove is no exception. It does what the makers description says it does (that's a big plus in today's sales gimmicks) And yes,like the other reviews, the top is so easy to clean after a spillage. And the after sales service is excellent.

I got this stove Dec, 2010 and love it. The continuous grates allow you to put things on top and to slide your pots around. The power boil burner is hot and quick! The simmers are great and don't burn or go out like my old stove. I am very happy with this selection.

I purchased this stove to replace the model installed by the builder in my home. My previous stove's "brain" was fried and would cost more than a new stove to fix. I chose this stove because it compliments my other appliances and GE builds quality appliances and stands behind their products if ever there is a problem. I was very impressed with HD offering Saturday delivery. The delivery was very professional. I received the promised calls to set up delivery time. The delivery was on time an did I mention "free delivery!" The young man unpacked and set up my new stove in about 20 minutes. The stove itself is very attractive. The raised black cast iron grates give the stove a professional modern look. The burners cook very well. They are much more powerful than my previous stove. I can't imagine using the "HIGH" setting. I've had to adjust my cooking so as not to burn the food. I baked brownies today to test out the oven and they were perfect. For the money you can't beat this stove. The only improvement I would suggest is for the oven light to come on automatically when the oven door is opened. It's a minor inconvenience I can live with. Overall, I highly recommend this stove.

I like everything about this product. It cooks very efficiently and works great. I have only had it for a week so I can't talk about durability but for the price, you can't beat it.

This is a great stove and has had a lot of use in the one year I have had it it replace a 33 year old stone that my son is now using. It cleans up easy and cooks very well. I could sit here write a lot of wonderful things but there is nothing wrong with it. I'm a 64 year old women that cooks for a living and I have to say that some of the reviews of this gas range surprised me cause it is truly a great stove for 600.00 you won't fine a better stone for the price, the only complaint I have is I should have bought this stove sooner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this gas range to replace Whirlpool Gold after the burner went out. What a difference. The controls are very easy to use and efficient. The oven pre heats in less than 10 mins at 400 degrees which is pretty fast compared to what I had. The recessed burners and surface make it easy to clean. The cast Iron grates are 2 pieces which is nice and they look professional grade.
The stainless steel looks really nice and makes a nice upgrade in the kitchen. However, the stainless steel has the grainy shine on the surface.
You cannot go wrong with this appliance from homedepot. The service and delivery was out of this world. Placed the order Tuesday Evening and got the delivery Thursday morning at 6am. Hookup and haul was less than 1/2 hr.

At first, I was hesistant about buying an all black oven. My other appliances were not purchased at ths same time so my other oven was black/white. I purchased this item in black to match my others. It cleans up nicely and looks beautiful in my kitchen. It is easy to use and I especially like that there is a power boil burner which heats my water very quickly. I also like the continuous grate on the top. It makes it easy to slide pots/pans across the top when needed. And it also seems easier to clean than my old stove. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this oven to anyone who wants a little more than what a basic oven has to offer.

This range has done everything that it said it could do. Very nice look in black. Nice removable grates for cleaning and full grates for moving pots easily around stove top.
