It allows the wheel chair bound to reach that top shelf storage. Not realistic for everyday use up any time you need to get to the top shelf this tool lets you grab it AND hold on every time. A real must have for newly handicapped.

There are some other long reachers out there, but all the rest are too heavy and are hard to use. The long 48 inch PikStik is the only reacher I can use to grab stuff from the highest shelves in my garage. Also, I can use it on my riding lawn mover to pick up things I don't want to run over. Thanks PikStik, and Thanks Home Depot.
