I installed this toliet myself. No problems except with MY bathroom floor that required a tile repair. Always something. It is perfect for small spaces and is very pretty for a toliet. A nice narrow tank. I like the seat that is included. It is plastic but does not seem cheap to us, in fact I like it enough to not cover it. I don't like wood seats. Easy to clean and the seat does not slam. I bought the right product for my project.

I only got this because I had to replace my sink and didn't want mismatched sink and toilet - plus there was a great sale! But I love it! The one piece design is so sleek looking, the flush is so much quieter than our old one, and best of all my husband is so entertained by the self closing lid he always closes it now. The contractor said it was a little heavy to install.

I love the height of the toilet. It handles all flushes big or small very well. The one piece is great for cleaning. My husband installed it without any problems. The seat has adjustments on it that will fit the bowl just fine. I read of people complaining about the seat not coming to the bowl, adjust the seat! We will buy this toilet to replace other toilets we have.

The good:
One-piece construction eliminates one failure point and eliminates the need to align the top and bottom portions.

The large area of the base spans uneven floors very well and allows a very stable mounting to the floor.
The very large trap design makes for a quick, water-efficient flush.

Product looked great but arrived broken. Making arrangements to lug it back to the store and get it credited will be a challenge. It is now sitting in my garage.

Love everything about it. Size takes up less room than our old round toilet. Flushes fine. I actually like the seat and cover since they don't slam when you close them.
Installation went well, although if you have never done a toilet, you might want help. You do need to buy the wax seal (few bucks at the store).
Although I chose the leave at door delivery option (cheapest), the driver called me as they were arriving. Since it was pouring rain, he wanted to know the best place to leave it. I was still at home so he actually helped carry it to the bathroom for me. Huge!

Like the soft close toilet and odor control and higher seat off the ground, like the gravity flush, no problems anymore with excrement.

The compact toilet with elongated seat fit great in the small bathroom and left room to spare! Flush is powerful and quick and not too noisy, however during the flush, water level quickly increases and decreases, leaving a small bit of solids on the side of bowl. Based on the reviews, I was worried about the seat being flimsy, however it was fine.

Shipping was fast and secure. Was a little leery of having a one piece toilet shipped across country but it was perfectly secured on a pallet. Took 25 minutes from start to flush.
Very unobtrusive and low profile. Seat is just fine. The slow close feature is cool for the boys although we still can't get them to just give it a little push. Oh Well. GREAT product!!

I installed 2 of these one piece Cadet toilets in my home last summer. One flush always clears the bowl plus the water savings will return the investment in less than 2 years. Recently I purchased 2 more Cadet toilets for my daughters home. I am completely satisfied.

The toilet flushes fine every time. Installation was easy - except for my floor which was a bit unlevel. This took some creative shimming to get the toilet to sit properly. HD had a great price on this 1 piece toilet @ $240 +/-. After $100 rebate from the local water department it was a fantastic deal. Like many other reviewers I find the included seat is cheap and too flexible.

Ordered one tall and one short by mistake -- wanted two tall --but kept both and they are fine. They are quite small compared to the old ones. Don't like the lightweight plastic seats and covers but assume they are standard at this price; may replace someday. Home Depot installed both for a reasonable price with no waiting. Overall painless, inexpensive and very satisfactory experience.

very nice toilet,fell in love with the lid.you can't slam it.just put down a little and it will self close,great feature if you have younger kids around.bowl is elongated but is no further away from the wall then our old round bowl toilet.

My 15-year-old daughter usually doesn't get emotional about household plumbing, but she said, "Oh my gosh, these new toilets are awesome! They actually flush!" We got two of the Compact Cadet 3's to replace two not-that-old toilets that routinely clogged up 2-3 times a week. The new toilets flush quickly and reliably with just a flick of the handle. The flush is loud, but who cares--it only lasts a second or two. They look nice and the extra seat height is very welcome. Buyers should note that when you buy the toilet, it includes the compact cadet "slow-close" seat, so you don't have to buy the seat separately. Great sale price from Home Depot and we are very pleased.
