Before ordering this flooring I did some research on the quality and strength as I have a dog and three young boys who might as well be wild animals. To my surprise after installing this hardwood in my dining room and kitchen, it is much stronger than I expected. We live in a condo on the third floor and have to worry about the noise generated to the units below so make sure you buy a good pad/vapor barrier for this floor. After the install we were surprised to find that it was actually quieter to walk on than our old carpet. The combination of the thickness of the hardwood coupled with the BlackJack padding made it both look and feel amazing. One thing to consider with click-lock flooring is that you're going to have a decent amount of waste if you don't pay attention to the end you're cutting. My father and I did the install and realized after the first few boards that we were creating waste by cutting the wrong end. Keep this in mind and you won't have much waste at all! We could not be happier with this purchase!

I chose this particular flooring because of the reviews & the photos other reviewers included. Also, the HD consultant said they were very "nice floors".
The overall color is warm brown & the pieces have a beautiful subtle variation of color, some darker, some lighter- giving them a very natural looking appearance. The day of the scheduled installation, the floor guys arrived & saw that our concrete floors were un-level [very un-level] We had to have them "leveled" with concrete before they could begin the click & lock installation. It required thirteen 50 lb bags & lots of extra labor- this added significant cost to what had been a relatively modest project but I'm trying to be positive- it was an unexpected home improvement. It's now 3 days later & the floor is complete & we are very happy. I look forward to being able to do the 3 remaining bedrooms with Home Legend Horizontal Toast bamboo very soon- after I find out about how level the existing concrete floor is. I hope this helps- good luck with whatever you decide.

I was looking for something other than tile and laminate for my master bathroom. I was going along the lines of a beach theme. I did the reviews and found that bamboo could withstand the humidity of a bathroom so decided on this product. It looks fantastic. I absolutely love the look. And after a year and a half, it still looks like the day I installed it. Best decision ever.

It looks okay...a little on the cheap side. If you have dogs with long nails, it scratches really easily. It's also really slippery. Also, it's difficult to clean as it leaves streaks whatever type of cleaning product you use. If your budget is small, I would recommend it, but if you can afford something better, I would recommend getting floor that is a little more sturdy and scratch-resistent.

Bamboo floors look great. I started with the kitchen and living room and liked it so much I put them in our bedroom as well.
Word of warning, use felt bottom on ALL furniture and have guests remove their shoes, especially if they are wearing heels. Product is easy to install and looks great, but if dents and scratches easy so if that is a problem for you, I would recommend looking into harder surfaces.

Installation was quick and easy once the room was prepped. Installed over a plywood subfloor with recommended underlayment. Suggest buying floating floor installation kit with spacers, tapping block and shoe for tight areas as the click-lock system requires tapping the flooring from the sides and ends to ensure a tight fit. Great for do-it-yourselfers.

The layer of actual bamboo on this flooring is very, very thin, maybe 1/8 of an inch. The rest is a composite wood. I ordered it on the website and didn't realize that it was not what I had looked at in the store, and when it arived, I was a little disapointed. The finish scratches really easily, too. That said, it went together great and looks beautiful. It's an average product, nicer than laminate, but you definately get what you pay for. If I had it to do again, I would get the slightly more expensive version that had much thicker bamboo on the surface.

I bought direct from the store. I installed 250sf with minimal issues. Had help from family but out of 11 boxes there was only one bad board. Waste was minimal even with all the unique cuts we had to make due to shape of room. Looks excellent and I will be doing it in the rest of the condo as well!!! Thank you Home Depot!!

Flooring arrived to my house in 2 days, I was amazed at how fas t it got here!
Took me 7 hours to install underlayment and flooring to cover 500 square feet, and I love the look and how easy it is to keep clean.
It will scratch fairly easy, and dent easily also, I put felt pads on the legs of all of the chairs and furniture to protect the flooring.

Will to start off i bought hardwood flooring because i have a mobile home and have six children. The carpet in our home became so dingy it was awful. Thank god for home depot flooring. We decided that we need new flooring, so we shopped for the ids sake. We decided that a floor that wouldnt leave stains is best for our family. eventually we had to move out all furniture and install the flooring. That was a huge task. But we got it done in two days. It was very pretty afterwards.I love my new flooring. Thank you so much for having a home depot near by.
