Customer reviews for 8 ft. 2,000/2,500-Watt 240 Volt Electric Baseboard Heater White

8 ft. 2,000/2,500-Watt 240 Volt Electric Baseboard Heater White

The Cadet Electric Baseboard heater utilizes convection to circulate air and provide efficient warmth. Typically installed under a window, the cool air falls from the window area as the warm air rises from the heater, causing the air to tumble gently throughout your room. The quiet operation and low cost installation make it a perfect choice for a bedroom or nursery. Rugged steel construction, with powder coated paint for a durable, premium finish. Installation is easy with a pre-punched case at 1 in. intervals, and wiring is available at either end. A thermostat is required.

Easy to install, more energy efficient than the really old baseboard heaters we replaced and much better looking too. We also noticed that it starts warming up the room much more quickly once it's turned on.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Heater looks great and was reasonably priced. I replaced an old electric baseboard heater with this one. This heater is quiet and heats my living room well. The wiring instructions that came with the unit were a little different than how the unit came wired from the factory but I figured it out. If you don't have any electrical experience, hire an electrician to install the unit.
Yes, I recommend this product.

We have a 12' X 12' uninsulated " back" room that we have set up with excercise equipment in it. We need to heat for only short time then shut the heater off till next workout. We tried small portable oil filled electric rads but they take too long and just not the way to go. I found the Cadet Electric Baseboard heater 240v 2500watts will heat the room 20 deg in about 1 hour here in N.J. Eazy to install I did the complete job my self, Ran a new 240 volt line.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought this to supplement heat in my house (fixer upper).
This heater blows away the existing hydronic hot water
heaters, Quiet and very surprised did not raised my electric
bill by much.
Slowly making improvements on the house (insulation etc.) but thanks to this heater can take my time,
do work my self etc.
This heater is saving me time money......
What more can you ask for at this price?
Yes, I recommend this product.

Did not buy the color I wanted. White was the only one that was shipped free. The almond was an extra 150 for shipping, even though they are exactly the same unit. Also a bit ambiguous installation instructions re multiple heater wiring. Their help line explained it to me. In general performing as expected.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I was afraid that the low price means its noisy like my old heater, but it is not. All you can hear is a very low humming when your head is close to it in a quiet room.
The paint is nice, a smothe finish. Installation was easy with the star dmple starter holes. I think it will stay quiet as the heating element in anchored in the center, and both ends float in a plastic bearing that will allow for expansion and contraction movement without making the pings and pops. The front does not come off, and it does not need to as I can tell it will be easy to clean. I used the old wire groumets and wire nuts from the old heater as it does not come with any.
Yes, I recommend this product.
