I shamelessly have over 30 of these. They fit perfectly in the Ikea Expidit bookshelves from Ikea, with a little room at the top to see what's in them without pulling them out, but not enough to look messy. The metal is plenty sturdy for toys, clothes, and general household tools, anything really. If I had a garage I would have many many more, but they work fabulously for storage in the house and look nice.

These bins are a great value. They are sturdy and the height allows you to fit alot in them. I used them for a hall closet to hold shoes and it not only looks great, but is very functional!

Glad to find these bins, and at a very reasonable price. They are pretty well constructed, with reinforced corners and comfortable grips. My major misgiving is that the steel used to construct them is quite thin, to the extent that the sides can be compressed by hand. Thus, while the bins can hold considerable weight, they would probably not take much battering.
Pros: Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, Good Size & Weight
Cons: could be more durable.

This was the perfect solution for my kitchen with an extremely small pantry ... I used these galvanized bins on open shelving in my kitchen to house a variety of pantry items that are now very accessible. With 4 adhesive furniture felt pieces on each bottom corner, these bins scream contemporary, industrial style & at a very very reasonable cost per unit vs. other researched containers.

I love these crates for storage. I actually use them on shelving in my kitchen, which is open to view. I store everything from paper towels to laundry soap to seldom used dishes. My home is "log cabin rustic" and they fit in perfectly.
