Four Winds 54 in. Indoor/Outdoor White Ceiling Fan
The Hampton Bay Four Winds 54 in. Indoor/Outdoor White Ceiling Fan is fashioned in a transitional, nautical motif and features a powerful 4,150 CFM motor that refreshes outdoor spaces up to 20 ft. x 20 ft. The blades are weather resistant and the housing is wet-rated for durability in exposed applications. It features a handy 3-speed pull chain control and has reversible airflow. The dome-style light has opal frosted glass to provide soft illumination from the included 13-watt CFLs. A decorative canopy ring and coupling cover conceal installation screws for a clean look once installed.

jdchef... perhaps you should pull the chain and make sure it is on high before using remote,
this was installed before we moved in this house. we've been here 4 years and havent had a problem

Havent had this fan for very long so that's why I havent given it top rating for quality. It was easy to install and looks great!! It runs quiet and moves air well. So far I am VERY pleased with my purchase.

We ordered two of these fans, and they are beautiful, even more so in person than on the site. And once we put them up on our porches at the river, they looked just gorgeous!

I just bought 3 of these for my patio. It looks good, it's quite..... But the fan only turns at 160 RPM on it's high setting. I wanted to return the fans but like a dummy I tossed the boxes. Now I can't return them. The 4100 CFM rating on the spec sheet is totally wrong. You can stand under the fan and barely feel the air moving..... Will not help cool my outdoor patio!!

Bought two, one works, the other doesn't. Paid to have them put up, now have to pay for one to come down and another put up in its place.

I am pleased with the fan's general appearance. It looks a bit too white in some parts. But the sails are like oars from a boat so the look of it goes well in my outdoor cabana.

This is a good overall value, it has the necessary weather tight seals, which most most ceiling fans do not have. Realizing that most patios ceiling are lower than most indoor ceilings, it would be nicer it the down pipe was shorter.

I ended up returning the fan. My problem was it seemed like it did not push enough air. I am not sure I'd that was due to blade pitch, fan speed, etc. it looks nice and installation was straight forward.

This outdoor fan was perfect because it matched perfectly the other 2 that we have on our patio.... that was my goal and it work. We love the fan and would buy another in a moment. We received the package very timely... can't remember how many days. But know it was here very shortly after ordering it.

This is a great wet location rated fan and really quiet. Looks better installed than in the pictures. It was easy to install and didn't need the blades balanced.
