This fastner is made to go in the wall in off set holes. Unfortunately we drilled the holes before putting the gasket/template in place. Next time I must READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! It looks like the fastener will work fine. Awaiting replacement parts.

I needed to put grab bars up in my Dads bathroom. He is a big man and I was extremely concerned about not being able to locate the studs over the tile. I am not that handy when it coms to carpentry work. BUT it only took me about 15 minutes to install the wingit. The waterproof tape acted as a template and made it extremely easy to locate the bars and then drill the holes. The wingit requires 2 -3/4" holes for each flange, which was extremely easy to make with the apache drill bit - this is an absolute must. It went through tile like butter. The installation was quick and easy - I popped the wings in the wall through then template and then put the screw through the flange and tightened with my cordless drill. My brother who weighs 420 lbs and is a professional contractor did not believe any fastener could hold. He wanted to rip apart the walls, put wood between the studs and rebuild the bathroom. He bet me 50 bucks he could bust out the bar. The grab bar never budged - he was amazed. AWESOME PRODUCT! the fastest 50 bucks I ever made. Than You - WingIts!

I purchased these fasteners along with their Apache drill bit to install a grab bar for my elderly next-door neighbors. I thought it would take most of the afternoon to get this done however much to my surprise I was back home in less than 30 minutes. The grab bar completely installed and will never move. I would suggest anyone use these to install a grab bar.
