I just completed a 12'x14' deck surface with this product.
This is a fairly standard composite material, wood "flour" mixed with recycled plastics, that has been "capped" on three sides with a thicker all-plastic layer. This plastic layer is supposed improve water resistance by sealing the top and sides and thus increase the mold, mildew & stain resistance. The bottom of each single-sided board is not capped with plastic.
Early reviews of these newer capped boards suggest they should wear longer than traditional all composite materials. Of course, since I just completed my project there's no way to review that aspect.
I did think the material cut easily and smoothly and even ripping the 12 foot board down its length was relatively painless.
I used the Trex "universal" hidden fasteners with this installation, they're half the price of the Veranda brand but are nylon and not the stainless of the Veranda brand. I also used the Veranda AG gray stainless screws for the border boards and they sank smoothly and recessed easily.
On the whole, I'm pleased with the product. Now it's time to see how it holds up in the fierce Colorado sunshine.
Pros: Alternative for Real Wood, Easy to Clean
Yes, I recommend this product.

Those boards are as advertised. I installed them with the hidden fasteners. Some here critized that there are a number of butted end fasteners they didn't need. Those fasteners can all be used as "normal" fasteners, only those few additional ones can serve an additional purpose.
I skipped every second rafter and alternated the fasteners to save $$$ on the fasteners. That worked very well for me.

Used the Veranda Armor Guard product for the first time. The hidden fasteners worked well and was quicker than the face screws. The problem with the decking was the bottoms were corrougated, so you have to cover the ends or put up with an industrial look. We used the 11" fascia for this, butting one piece under the decking and a small 2 1/2" strip to cover the ends of the decking. One the stairs, we just let the cut ends show as there wasn't a good way to hide the ugly ends.
On the plus side, the deck boards didn't seem to stain and some even came with their own oily stain which wiped right off. I wonder though, what that product will be like when it's covered with snow and ice/frost? I have already warned the homeowner about this as I read the caution on another review.
I'm not sure if I would used this decking again because of the end profile problem. If they made a solid board, the installation would be simpler and save a few steps and some money.
Pros: Alternative for Real Wood, Easy to Install, Easy to Clean
Cons: difficult to trim edges of deck
No, I do not recommend this product.
