The Best Seller Hospitality Pineapple is sand-cast in sold Nickel Silver & Polished Chrome and Highlighted with a brushed finish. It was designed by Michael Healy, an accomplished Rhode Island artisan known for his truly Unique Door Knockers. The Pineapple is a traditional symbol of abundant hospitality, making it an ideal design for your home's front door. This Pineapple has been scaled down from Michaelâs original Door Knocker to create a trendy gift item. It comes in Michael Healyâs stylish gift packaging perfect for everyone. Nickel Silver is an alloy that has a warm silver color which is attained by adding nickel to bronze. Michael combines a high polished finish with brushed accents to generate a contemporary look. A stainless steel brush on a high speed lathe is used to create the brushed effects. The mirrored finish of polished nickel silver is achieved through varying degrees of sanding and buffing. Michael uses these techniques to highlight or accent the raised areas on a piece.

Not only is this pineapple door knocker chic and classy, but very functional for me because I am hard of hearing and since I cannot hear the sounds of a door bell, this heavy knocker is perfect for me. The classic look on a black door is very chic.

This door knocker was a great find and at a great price. The color is really nice and the details shows up quite well. I have it hanging on a light blue front door and it really makes a statement without being tacky! I highly recommend this piece.

The door knocker is a well made product and the price was considerably better than several other reailers I checked. The door knocker was just as it was described and installed easily. The product arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. I could not expect more.
